Lucifer One-shots (a lot of deckerstar!)

So I first got this idea from @/wowscofield on Instagram, she reposted a tweet saying that the chance of Lucifer sending Chloe home that late is almost zero, so I decided to write a one-shot on the 3.06 Deckerstar sleepover:)

They sat like that, hugging each other, for a very, very long time. Chloe felt the warmth of Lucifer's body against hers, and she honestly wished she could just stay there forever, locked up in his arms. But, as everything else, their moment ended eventually.

Chloe yawned. "I guess I should get going," she said, pushing herself of the bed. She walked a few steps before Lucifer said her name. "Chloe." The detective turned around, meeting his eyes. "You shouldn't have to get home this late. How about you just stay here?" Chloe hesitated. It was not that she didn't want to she just-

"You can get the bed," Lucifer continued. "I'll just-" He looked around, probably realising that Dan and Linda were still sleeping on his couch.

"I'll sleep on the floor. You shouldn't have to go home in the middle of the night. Especially not on your birthday."

Chloe smiled.

"Thanks."

And so they ended up there; Lucifer on a small mattress, and Chloe alone in the king-size bed. She could hear him toss and turn there on the floor, but she didn't quite know what to do with it. She kept replaying his words in his mind, over and over again. Especially not to you. Chloe couldn't help but smile. He did care about her, after all.

A couple of minutes passed, and Lucifer was still tossing and turning on the floor. For someone who's used to sleeping in a luxury king-size bed, Chloe guessed falling asleep on the mattress could be pretty hard.

"Lucifer?" she whispered quietly into the dark room.

She heard him mumbling a low answer, and then his head came to sight over the bedside.

"If it's uncomfortable laying there, you could just lay here next to me?"

Her voice was hesitant, but Lucifer seemed to get the message. Without a word, he rose slowly walking around to the other side of the bed. He wavered a bit before he sat down.

"Are you sure?" he asked, and Chloe was quite sure she could see a small smile tugged on his lips through the darkness.

She nodded, and Lucifer let himself down, the bed slightly dipping under him.

"Good night, Detective." Lucifer whispered.

"Oh, Lucifer?" Chloe had to ask one more thing before they both fell asleep.

"We tried for ages to guess the combination of your safe. Is it- Can you tell me what it is?"

Lucifer smiled.

"1106," he simply replied, though it took Chloe a moment to realise what it meant.

"As in November sixth?" She asked, and now she couldn't stop smiling either. She reached out to touch his arm.

"Goodnight Lucifer."

Waking up, Linda found herself on Lucifer's couch. It took her a moment to realise how she had ended up there. Looking around, she saw that Dan had already left before her. She got up, expecting to find Chloe as she had left her, alone in Lucifer's bed. What she did not expect, was finding her there with Lucifer's arm around her, both with a small smile tugged to their lips. Collecting her things, Linda couldn't help but feel a rush of happiness. Her eyes landed on Lucifer, sleeping so peacefully with his arm around his miracle. Linda smiled.

"Well done, you idiot," she whispered quietly before she walked out of the penthouse.

Omg y'all we have season five. And not only that. We have (spoilers!) canon Deckerstar smut, real couple AND SO MUCH TENSION. Also does anyone else love the "miracle" explanation? I mean I've actually been super worried about the whole "miracle" thing and what that means for our babies, but this is the best explanation we could have gotten.
