"Witches as black-clad, broomstick-riding, ugly old hags dominate Western representations in movies, stories and especially at Halloween. Popular misconceptions hold that systematic, massive European witch hunts, trials, and executions happened during the Middle Ages. Although, medieval thinkers contributed intellectual and legal ideas that helped develop the concept of witchcraft, the large-scale witch hunt belong to the early-modern period, comprising both the Protestant Reformation and the humanist Renaissance. (...). Magic is most often associated with witchcraft, and it is a concept with dichotomous subdivisions: popular magic versus intellectual magic, natural magic versus demonic magic. A basic definition of magic is "all efforts to manipulate or compel supernatural forces without reference to a God or Gods to matters of ultimate meaning" (Stark 2003:8) (...) A witch, usually a woman, who is "believed to be inherently evil, born with the power to commit evil against others, and filled with anger and envy (Guiley 1999:212-3,314)..."

-Hey Lazuli!- Peridot said entering loudly to my, well, our room, interrupting my holly leacture.

It was 10 of May of 2016. Several weeks have passed since the events of "Change Your Mind". With the help of the Gem Community of the CPUP (Comunidad de Planetas Unidos por la Paz, Community of Planets United by the Peace on English) the healed Crystal Gems were building their own town: Little Homeworld (yeah, the name sounds more like the Gems here are immigrants that love Homeworld and its culture instead of Gems that fought against the Gem Empire and its way of life. Steven isn't the best for selecting names of places nor Gems). After some week of hard work, we finally made some buildings, new homes for us.

We, Peridot, Pumpkin and myself, Lapis Lazuli (a.k.a. Water Angel) were living in of those building that were like human apartments, but bigger and more beautiful. Of course that we impregnated our new home with our Meep-Morps, finally bringing our stuff that I left in Pink's (Steven's?) Lunar Base when the Diamonds showed up in Garnet's weeding. Also I bring all the books that my teacher Mew gave me, putting them in a big and beautiful bookcase.

After some time of leaving my home, I had a new one with Peridot. A new home in which Peridot and I could show our love to ourselves comfortably (and being interrupted when the things were about to "heat up") and live in peace with our neighbors. When a danger comes to us, this time I will bravely fight to save my home and my planet.

I was reading in my comfortable hammock, in which I also like to sleep. Sometimes because I need it, other times just to relax.

-Hi Peridot! Oh, hi Pumpkin! How was the walk?- I said happily closing the book and hugging Pumpkin, while he licked my face, which make me tickles.

-Good. Every day is more secure to take walks here, since Beach City is a little, you know, far. So, what are you reading?- Peridot said.

I took the book and showed it to her.
