16. b. Gender Reveal Party

Doyoung and I have our gender reveal party this evening at my parents place. We can't wait to find out the gender of our baby. We still have no idea if we are having a boy or a girl. My parents haven't told us how we are going to find out but I guess that's all part of the surprise and not knowing the gender. We are over at my parents house now and the party is about to start. Doyoung and I both can't contain our excitement much longer. I guess we'll be finding out in about an hour or so. My mom and dad gave the backyard decorated with pink and blue things ready for the reveal. Let's hope it doesn't rain. When everybody has arrived, they help themselves to food and drink. When people arrive they come to us and greet us. My mom has made a delicious cake. Half pink and half blue. Can't wait to tuck into it. About an hour later and it was time for the big reveal. "Are you two ready to find out the gender of your baby?" My mom said. "Yes we are so excited, mom. Can't wait to find out" I reply. "We are so ready for this moment" Doyoung said. "In this cannon there is pink or blue confetti. Just press the trigger to find out" my dad said. He hands us the cannon. Doyoung and I stand together and hold the cannon. My mom starts a countdown to 10. We both press the trigger and loads of blue confetti files out. "We are having a boy. Yay!" Doyoung exclaims. "Yessss Little Bean is a prince" I reply. "Our boy" he smiles pulling me closer. I smile. That was an amazing surprise. The most amazing surprise ever. We are having a baby boy and we couldn't be happier. My parents threw us the best party ever

Johnny 💛

Johnny is still in Korea and I'm still in the US. We don't know when we are going to see each other again or where our baby girl will be born. Most likely in Seoul but we've still got that to figure out. We've still got tons though. If we move to Korea we'll have to find somewhere to live to raise the baby. The guys don't know the gender of our baby yet. Don't think Johnny's told them. I'm going to surprise them and do a little gender reveal thing with the help of my 12 year old sister, Lauren. We are close even though there is 13 years between us. I love my little sister. We have been busy making pink cupcakes to show the guys. We will probably end up eating them ourselves. Maybe giving some to our parents. It's mid morning in Chicago now so it will be evening in Korea now. A good time to call Johnny and the guys. I get FaceTime up on my phone and call Johnny. He answers straight away. "Hey, love. How's it going? Hey, Lauren" he said. "It's going good. Are the boys around, John?" I say. "Yes they are. Should I get them?" Johnny replies. "Sure. Me and Lauren have something to show them" I say. "Alright" he said. The 127 boys come in a few minutes later. The rest of them. "Hey, Y/ N" Mark said. "Hey, guys" I smile. "Yo" Taeyong said. "What's up?" Taeil said. "Ummm well me and Lauren have been busy making cupcakes to do a little gender reveal thing" I say. "Cool. Can we have some? I love cupcakes" Haechan said. "Huh well if you can wait" I laugh. "Do you wanna know if Y/ N and Johnny are having a girl or a boy?" Lauren said. "I already know" Johnny said. "Why didn't you tell us" Jaehyun said. "Well because it was kinda a secret" he said. "Do you think the cupcakes are pink or blue?" I said. The guys all yelled out together. I couldn't tell who was saying what. Lauren and I hold up the cupcakes together. "It's pink. We are having a little girl" I said. "We are. A little princess is on her way" Johnny said. "Im so excited for you" Jungwoo said. The boys smile. I think they were more interested in eating the cupcakes than the gender reveal but we told them that we are having a baby girl

His POV

Y/ N and I are throwing our baby party today. Not a gender reveal party as we are not finding out the gender. Maybe like a baby shower. It's just a party to celebrate that we are having a baby. We have been busy making cakes and cookies together for the party. A mixture of pink and blue of course since we don't know if we are having a boy or a girl. We can't wait to find out when the time comes. Anyway people gave just arrived now for the party. Some of them gave bought gifts even though we didn't actually ask for anything. I think the cakes and cookies are so good that we made. We tasted some ourselves. Everyone helps themselves to little appetisers and snacks. The sweet treats are for later. Our apartment is decorated with pink and blue things. We got some stuff at the supermarket last week. We also put some baby things like bottles and diapers around the place too. When almost all the food was gone, we wanted to say a few words to our guests. "Hello, everyone and thank you for coming to our baby party. It's really great you can all be here to celebrate the birth of our first child who's coming into the world in the next few months" I say. "We are not finding out the gender of the baby till they are born but we thought we would throw together this party to celebrate" Y/ N said. "I would like to propose a toady to Y/ N and it's baby. Maybe he or she be born healthy and happy and adorable of course" I say. Everyone raises their glasses to the baby. "Can you all guess if we are having a girl or a boy?" Y/ N said. "Hands up for a boy" I say. "And hands up if you think it's a girl" Y/ N said. Think we got about the same votes for both. Maybe a few more for a boy. We won't be finding out till the little one is born. The party finishes off with the sweet treats which everyone devoured and loved. Our baby party went great this afternoon. Can't wait till the baby is torn

Yuta 🖤

Me and Yuta are having our gender reveal party today at the NCT house. We've had it in the works for the last few weeks since we going out the genders of our babies. Today we are revealing the genders to our friends and family. We have organised a fun activity for our guests. We have lots of plain white onesies and blue and pink paint. We are going to ask everyone to design their own onesie. Pink if they think we are having twin girls, blue if they think it's it's twin boys and half pink and half blue if they think it's a boy and a girl. Me and Yuta have already painted a blue onesie each to reveal at the end. Can't wait to do it soon. We've been waiting for this party. Yuta and I secretly get the onesie station set up while people are talking and socialising. A box full of plain onesies and and blue and pink paints next to them. "Okay, everyone. Me and Y/ N have a fun little activity lined up for you all right now. If you come over to our onesie designing station, we'll explain all" Yuta said. We explain about the activity and leave people to design away. Interesting to see if they can guess the genders. We leave them for a good 30 minutes or so to get creative. "We see you've all been busy" Yuta said. "Thats great to see. Are ready to find out the genders of our babies?" I say. Most people have gone for a boy and a girl. "In this box there is two onesies we made. Will they be pink Or blue?" Yuta said. On the count of three he pull out the onesies. "Both blue. We are having twin boys" I say. Everyone cheers. Our boys. We were shoot with the way our twin gender reveal party went today
