25. b. Getting Ready For Baby

Doyoung 🧡

I'm almost 38 weeks now in my pregnancy. Our baby boy will be here very very soon. His name we will decide on when he's here. We still have a few in mind but we are not going to name till he's here in our arms. We cannot wait to meet our beautiful little boy. Doyoung and I have waited for this miracle baby for so long and he's almost here. The doctor said I might need to go on bed rest soon. Since I was told I couldn't get pregnant years ago I'm a little more at risk than some other women. But that's okay if I am. Doyoung and I are busy getting the baby's things ready now just in case I have to go on bed rest till the baby is born. We are in the nursery now making sure everything is together in case the doctor calls me tomorrow and tells me to go on bed rest. Doyoung is great at helping me with things. We are sorting out the hospital bag first. I have a big long checklist of things to include. Doyoung helps me get them ready and organised. "Are you okay staying on your feet, jagiya? I can go through the list and pack the things if you want" he said. "No I'm fine, DoDo. Don't worry. I'm all good" I reply. "Okay, sweetie. Let me know if you do" he said. We go through the hospital bag checklist in no time. They are other things to add at a later date. Think we are okay for now. "All done for now. You go and put your feet up, love. You look exhausted" Doyoung said. "Yeah I will. Would you mind making me a cup of tea please?" I say. "Of course. It's my pleasure to do so" he replies. I smile. I take a seat on the couch in the lounge and Doyoung brings me some tea in. We chill together for a while before he makes dinner. I think we are about ready for the arrival of our baby boy

Johnny 💛

Johnny and I are busy getting the final finishing touches to baby Harmony's nursery. She will be here in the next 4 weeks or so. We cannot wait to meet her and be her mommy and daddy. We have waited to meet her for nearly 9 months of and it's felt like a long time in telling you. The nursery is decorated and the crib is in place. We have got other things to put in like the changing unit/ dresser and nice things to put up on the wall. We are making Harmony's nursery in Seoul pretty similar to her one in Chicago. We will be spending more time in Korea so I think that one will be the nicest. We are in the nursery now sorting and organising things now. Johnny is on a ladder putting some things up on the wall in the nursery. We have got some cute little pictures and things and letters that spell out Harmony's name. HES. Harmony Everly Suh. Johnny is putting the pictures on the wall now. "Does that look straight and even so you think?" he asks. "Yes I think so" I say standing back so I can see. "Perfect" I say. "Great. I didn't want it to be wonky" Johnny said. I ask Johnny to hang the letters up next above Harmony's crib. The H first then the E and finally the S. "Perfect. Our little princess has her initials above her when she's sleeping" Johnny said. "Yes she will but remember the first few months she will be in with us" I say. "Oh yes I know" he replies. I want to put the bedding on the crib and a few cuddly toys inside to keep Harmony company. "Okay think we are done for now. We can do clothes tomorrow or another say. Some of her clothes are already sorted" I say. "Yes we can. We need to rest now but especially you, babe" Johnny replies. "Yes" I say. Our work in the nursery was done for today. We are almost ready for the arrival of our little princess

Taeil 🤎

Taeil and I are starting to get things ready for the arrival of our baby who will be here in the next few weeks. 36 weeks now so I'm about a month off my due date. We have clothes for the baby but we need to sort them out and organise them in the closet and drawers in the nursery. We have a good little collection of clothes and things for the baby. Not too much as we don't know if they are a boy or a girl yet and we won't till they are here. All the clothes have been washed to soften them now it's time to put them away. First I sort things out. Onesies and socks will go in the drawers. Things like sleep suits and complete outfits will go in the closet. We also have a few drawers in the closet too to keep things in. We have plenty of place. Taeil leaves me to sort things as he doesn't want to get in my way and hover. I tell him when I'm ready and he comes in. "Taeil, I'm ready for ya" I say. "Okay I'm coming, sweetie" he said. "Let me show you how I've organised things" I say. "Sure I'd love to know" he said. I talk him through what I've done and then we start sorting things out in the closet. Newborn things first of course. "I love all these newborn clothes" I say. "Yep me too. Soon we will have a baby to dress them in" Taeil replies. "Oh yes we will. Not long now, Tae" I reply. "Yes of course. I don't mind if it's a boy or a girl. I've always wanted a son but I don't think I really mind now. If we have a daughter it will be awesome too" he said. "Awwwww. I don't mind at all just as long as the baby is healthy and happy. Doesn't matter if they are a boy or a girl" I said. Anyway  Taeil and I carry on sorting things out in the closet till everything was put away. We did the little drawers in the closet and then the other drawers in the nursery. It took us more than an hour to do it but we got there in the end. Everyday is a day closer to us being parents

His POV

Y/ N and I have had a big job on these last few days getting things ready for our boys. Daisuke and Toshiro who could be here in less than two weeks. We cannot wait to meet our little guys so very soon. We have been busy today again sorting out things for the boys. All their clothes are now nicely organised in their closet. It looks really good. We are really pleased with it. Daisuke has his own section and so does Toshiro. Both boys have their own section in the closet. "I think it looks really good. I'm proud of it" I say. "Oh yes it is. Can't wait till our boys are here" she said. "Oh yes me too. Not long now. Two weeks or less" I say. "Yep" Y/ N said. "You must be tired now, love" I said. "Yeah I am actually. I need a sit down" Y/ N said. "Let's get you sat down" I said. Y/ N and I sit down on the couch and rest after sorting things out for the babies. "That was a productive day" she said. "Yes it was. Very well indeed" I yawn. "Awwww you're tired too, Yuta" she said. "Yeah just a little I can't imagine how you feel carrying two babies for almost 9 months" I say. "I know well you just have to get used to it when you're having babies" Y/ N said. Anyway today was good getting the best of the things for our boys ready. We cant wait to meet them very very soon

My baby Mark is back in NCT Dream. Yay! So excited for NCT 2020 next week. Gonna be amazing 💜💜💜💜
