Tipsy
Napahawak ako sa aking bibig dahil sa sobrang gulat. My hands are shaking so bad and I don't know what to do.
Agad na nagkagulo.
"W-Wala naman akong ginagawang masama! Lalaki lang!" sigaw no'ng tiga Class D.
Nakahandusay na siya sa lupa ngayon. I saw a lot blood around his nose.
"Under Republic Act 11313, acts such as sexual harassment, staring, stalking, catcalling or taunting on the basis of one's gender are punishable by law," Theo said.
"Nagbibiro lang po ako!" sigaw pa no'ng lalaki at ngayo'y tumayo na.
Agad siyang kinuwelyuhan ni Jax. Bago pa niya masuntok ulit iyong lalaki ay inawat na siya ni Theo.
"Basagin ko kaya 'yang mukha mo tapos sabihin kong nagbibiro lang ako?" buo ang boses ni Jax.
"Tama na, bro! Dalhin na lang natin sa disciplinary office," Theo said.
Umaawat na rin iyong mga guest mentors na nasa stage kanina. Dinaluhan naman ako nina Cat, Xuri, at Gelo.
"Are you okay, Cali?" Cat asked.
I just nodded.
"Manyak na 'yon! Good luck sa kanya, Star Sapphires pa kinakalaban!" galit na sabi ni Xuri.
"I hope he'll be suspended or more likely, kicked out!" si Gelo naman sabay hinihimas ang likod ko.
All of the people involved in the incident were called to the disciplinary office.
Huli akong tinawag sa loob at napag-alaman kong suspended na agad iyong nambastos sa akin. The headmistress said that they will look further into this to see a possible kick-out case.
"He should be kicked out, Ma!" Jax shouted.
He looks so frustrated. Kami na lang ang estudyante sa loob ng disciplinary office.
"I told you, son. We will look into this very carefully. I cannot make a decision right away. The board needs to talk about this first. There's a due process," Ms. Yrreverre said.
Naiintindihan ko naman iyon.
"Should I call your parents, Cali?" the headmistress asked.
Agad akong umiling. I don't want them to be so worried about me. And I know what they will do... Especially Dad. He will do everything in his power to have the boy kicked out in this school. Ayaw ko sanang umabot pa sa ganoon dahil napag-alaman kong scholar siya.
Maybe suspension will do... His pervert mouth deserves it.
Jax on the other hand, dahil nanuntok siya, he will be on detention for hours and will not be able to join any activities of the day including the Midterms Party.
"I'm sorry, Jax. Rules are rules..." his Mom told him. "You hurt someone."
"Bastos kasi siya, Ma. Tama lang po 'yon!" Jax said in his defense.
"But there are better ways to punish someone without punching," Ms. Yrreverre said.
"Cali is my closest friend here in this school, Ma..." Jax said and it warmed my heart. "If I would have a chance to change what I did, I'd still punch him, but harder this time."
Why is he telling this to his Mom right now? And why does being a friend sounds so nice?
"He do deserved that punch, anak."
