"Let's go home."

"Yeah, let's go home, Kei."

"Mmm, heheh, let's...go-" A loud thud sounded as Hotaru fell out of her bed, landing inside in a heap on her floor. The blankets tangled around her, forcing the female to remain still for a moment before untangling herself. After a moment of weird noises and loud thuds, she finally got out of her twisted blanket and sat upright.

"What're you doing?" Iwaizumi muttered as he walked past her door, pausing when he saw her laying on the floor awkwardly. "You're gonna be late."

"Huh?" Hotaru rose her eyebrows, "Late for what?"

Iwaizumi shot her a flat look, almost questioning if she was dumb. "Your date? Did you not say you were going on a date with Tsukishima today?"

"Huh? But didn't.." She glanced around, noticing that everything was the same as it was last night before she went to bed. "HOLD THE FUCK UP!"

"What?" Iwaizumi shouted, slightly surprised by her sudden outburst.

"What day is it?!" Hotaru said as she scrambled off the floor, desperately trying to find her phone.

"Saturday. The 26th?" Upon hearing that, she jumped up and ran towards the bathroom.

"IT WAS A DREAM?!"

"You're late." Tsukishima muttered as he pushed himself off the wall he was leant up against. His eyes were strewn together in either annoyance or worry—maybe both. "Did you run here?"

Hotaru put her hands on her knees, swallowing rapidly to catch her breath and lubricate her dry throat. "Mmhm." She hummed in between heaves, looking so winded that Tsukishima went off to buy water and returned.

"You didn't have to to run." He rolled his eyes, watching the female down the water bottle easily.

Hotaru tilted her head, "Are you sure about that?"

"No, I've been standing here for almost an hour, but still." Tsukishima chuckled, noticing the depression lines that formed around her body as she faltered a bit. "Whatever. It's fine. Let's just go."

"Go where?" Hotaru asked, following the male who entered the mall.

Tsukishima shrugged, "Wasn't this date your idea? You figure it out."

"Ah, yeah!" Hotaru quickly looked around, trying to find a place to go now that they were finally here. Spotting the ice cream shop from her dream, she pointed over at it, "How about some ice cream?"

The male shrugged, seeing as it was almost noon and it was getting hot. Taking his shrug as a yes, she lead him to the parlor and opened the door for the two of them.

They were greeted by a cold atmosphere and a sweet scent that made them feel like they were in another world. Hotaru was quick to scurry over to the counter to order their favorite ice cream. In no time, she carried the two ice cream cones back to the table and sat beside Tsukishima, handing him his cone.

"They're kinda loud." Hotaru said absentmindedly, feeling a wave of deja vu fill her when the dream resurfaced in her mind. Relax, Hotaru, it was just a dream.

Tsukishima deadpanned, "Cause there's like fifty of them."

"Oh my, you're right." Scanning the large group, she gasped, "Wow."

"Why did they even follow us?" Tsukishima asked, frowning upon noticing how they had eyes from every direction.

"I think they just wanted to see how things would go." Hotaru said with a small giggle, noticing how Tsukishima was subtly sulking. THIS IS FREAKING WEIRD. WHAT- "We should tease them."
