Leo jumps off my bed. "Must've been a good letter huh?" I let the smile drop from my face and glare at him. "Maybe." He only chuckles and wraps his arm over my shoulders, leading me out the door. "You don't have to be so angry all the time." I try to slap his hand off me but I can't pry it off. "I'm not angry." He lets me go once we get to the dungeon halls. "Whatever you want to think then." With that, he leaves me in the halls. I scoff, I don't look angry all the time... do I? No I don't need to even worry about this, it's not important. I fix the collar on my shirt and pull down my robe. I hear my stomach growl under the cloth. "Right breakfast..." I start to head to the stairs to the main hall.

Once I reach the hall doors I notice Tom waiting outside them. I don't have time to deal with him right now. Looking around I notice a group of chatty hufflepuff girls walking my way. Weighing my choices I decide talking to them for help would be the best bet. I make my way to them slowly. "Hey." They all stop. "Do we know you?" The one with red hair asks me. "No, but I was hoping you could help me..." I ask in my nicest tone. "I'm having some problems with this creepy guy and he's waiting for me outside the hall... could I walk in with you?" They look at one another and shrug. "I don't see why not." Yes! Thank Merlin hufflepuffs are so nice. Truth is, I don't know if he's waiting for me or not, but I'm not taking any chances after yesterday. I smile and join their group trying to blend in with them. The single gryffendor of the group talks to me just before we reach the hall doors; "If he bugs you we're not going to be a part of it though, we've already had a fair share of creeps."

We reach the doors and I don't see Tom anywhere, maybe he went in already and gave up. I let myself loosen up and relax a bit, breathing a sigh of relief. Just as we get inside though, I feel I tug on my arm that pulls me away from the group. "Made some new friends?" I recognize that voice from anyone. I turned around to face the person who spoke to me. "Hey Riddle." I smile awkwardly at him. He raises a brow. "You're acting strange." I scoff. "I'm not the one who's acting strange- you were off your rocker last night!" I watch as his facial expressions change from surprise, anger, confusement , to finally an expression I couldn't read. "I'm not great with being romantic you know." I cross my arms. "No shit." He sighs. "I was trying to be the classic boyfriend, you know, lovey dovey." I roll my eyes. "Do I look like the kind of person who wants or needs that? Honestly Riddle it's driving me insane." I don't get a response. "You know I actually tried to get along with you for a little. Figure yourself out before you go after people you maniac." With a turn of my heel I leave him and join Leo at the breakfast table.

I spent the rest of my day thinking of opportunities. I needed a chance to get the rest of my family in here... I'm just not sure how. I know I can't do it alone though, as much as I hate to say it, I need an extra hand. Only one person came to mind... Oliver. Sure I was being a dick to him recently, but he'll probably forgive me... right? I head into the courtyard and quickly look around for Oliver. I remember one day he mentioned spending time in the courtyard, I hope he's here. Not seeing anything at first, I walk around the premises in search. It seems like my luck has run out though, there's no sign of him anywhere. I sigh, where else could he be? Maybe the library? Or the greenhouses? I give one last look as I stand at the entry way of the courtyard before turning around swiftly and-

"I'm so sorr- oh" The small voice seems familiar as they stop mid sentence. I back up a step and rub my chin, which was hit relatively hard. "Oliver, I'm glad to have run into you. I need some help." I smile and tilt my head, trying my best to convince him to help me. He just shakes his head. "After what you've said I don't think I'll be helping you anymore." My smile fades. "Hey I know I've not been the nicest but-" He scoffs. "Nicest? You haven't even gotten close, your worse then Tom." I let my eyebrows furry at this statement, worse then Tom?! "Hey there is no way I'm worse!" I whisper yell at him, my finger pushed hard on his chest. "I don't torture you for fun!" Oliver diverts his gaze as I say this. "Just stay away from me Pads." With that said, he brushes past me and heads into the courtyard, leaving me stunned. How could he just say no? Speaking honestly, I'm a little hurt. As if a little chip had appeared in my ego. Maybe it was better this way? I could do things by myself, I'm more then capable. I just need a good plan.

I head down into the dungeons. I needed to think of a plan, which I need time for. I was going to send a letter to clause asking for some extra time. Just as I reach the end of the steps I see some students pacing up and down the hall. Usually at this time the dungeon was empty, the students doing anything better then stay underground. I decide it would be best to just ignore and walk past them, even though they looked slightly familiar. As I start to stroll towards them they stop pacing and watch me. One heads over to the other and whispers something in their ear. Both were girls so I wouldn't be surprised if they were chatting up a storm of rumours. That is until one stops me. "Excuse me."

"What?" I spit at them. They look reluctant to ask but do so anyways. "Uhm, have you and Tom Riddle broken up?" I raise both of my eyebrows in surprise. One, we weren't even dating for a week. Two, this girl had the guts to ask? "I nod my head. "Yeah he's all yours." She smiles at me and quickly turns to her friend excited. "I wouldn't be too happy about it though." She turns back to me. "He's a little...." I gesture with my hands that he's a little messed up in the brain area. "cuckoo." With that I leave them and head back to my quarters, you know, like I had planned to. Once I get in, the couch area is completely empty. I sigh a breath of relief, I could use a proper table for once. I head over to my room and look around for a spare paper, quill and ink. When I do, I head straight back over to the couches and use the small table to the middle to write.

—————————————————————————

Dear Clause ,

Hey it's y/n, I need more time to figure out how to get you in here. I've run tiny a few problems on the way- every journey has some bumps, but soon enough I'll send you another letter stating the date of when to come. They have quite the treasury here. Give me another month- I'll be able to figure out a plan and date by then.

—————————————————————————

I tie the letter into a small scroll and put my writing things away. I should send this as soon as possible but it could wait another day. I need some rest. I haven't done much today but for some unknown reason I felt exhausted, my mind thinking over and over again about being rejected. Sighing, I throw myself onto my bed and fall quickly into a deep sleep.

It's not too long before I'm awoken by rattling sounds coming from the inside of my room. I quickly spring upright and listen for the source, which door it was coming from. The rattling had stopped, instead replaced with the sound of some voices I couldn't decipher. I slowly place one foot on the cold stone floor of my room, letting myself slowly raise from the bed. Just as I put my second foot down I hear the rattling again, it came from the door under my bed.

Hey, I know a short one, but at least an update. I've got some ideas brewing for what to write next but haven't chosen yet. Once I do, there will be a nice long chapter :)

On another note, thankyou guys so much for 3k. In all honesty I thought this would be a complete flop but here you all are! Thanks for reading!
