Miles Edgeworth woke up with a start. He sat up quickly, barely stopping a scream. He sighed and closed his eyes. A hand was on his shoulder. He jumped, his eyes shooting open, before realizing it was only Phoenix. Miles took a shaky breath and relaxed.
"Hey." Phoenix sounded concerned. "Hey." He scooted closer. "You okay?" Miles nodded, leaning up against the attorney. "Yes, just.." He took another breath. "Just a bad dream. Nothing to worry about."
"You sure?" Miles looked at him and smiled lightly. "Yes, I'm sure. I apologize for waking you." Phoenix grinned back. He still looked worried, although it was hard to tell in the dark. "Alright, Miles. Try to get some sleep, okay? Love you." He settled back into the covers. Miles stayed up a bit longer before laying back down and leaning his head into Phoenix's back. "Love you too."
