Shortly after the Spring National Swimming Championships was Chinese New Year.

Yun Duo combined the public holiday with some annual leave so she could stay at home for two weeks. She was happy just thinking about it. Her holidays began on Chinese New Year's Eve, the same as Tang Yi-Bai and the others.

Tang Yi-Bai's case was more tragic — including the day of the eve, he only had 3 days of leave.

Every year, the Tang family would return to City-N to pass the Chinese New Year, and this year was no exception. Yun Duo planned to go back as well, so the four people decided to travel together.

At night, Yun Duo was in her room packing her things. Girls tended to have more things to pack, and they tended to find even more things to pack the longer they packed...

Tang Yi-Bai had it easy — he was only going back for 3 days, and his hometown had everything he needed. He wasn't fussy anyhow, so he could make do. Thus, he simply took some necessities, and then he sat in his room with his door open. He held a book in his hands, looking up every so often from it to peer across the corridor.

Across his door was Yun Duo's room.

Her room door was not fully closed; Tang Yi-Bai could hear the noise of things being shifted coming from within every once in a while. He really felt like going to peek inside, but Yun Duo had already spoken: She did not need his help.

Therefore, Tang Yi-Bai could only sit inside his own room. As soon as Yun Duo opened her door, his gaze was drawn to her instantly and followed her as she moved around. Yun Duo felt that she was being teased by his gaze and could not help but speed up. When she went back into her room, she even gave him a warning look.

Tang Yi-Bai felt a little moody — it looked like she really did not welcome him.

Er-Bai slinked over and Tang Yi-Bai saw him carelessly pry Yun Duo's room door open with his head. Er-Bai then entered the room and turned around to close the door.

Before the door closed, Er-Bai made eye contact with Tang Yi-Bai.

Tang Yi-Bai: =.=

No match for a dog...

He grabbed his cell phone and sent Yun Duo a voice chat request.

Yun Duo accepted and asked, puzzled, "Is there something you can't tell me to my face? Using your phone even though we're so close."

Tang Yi-Bai said, "Come over, I want to show you something fun."

"I'm busy."

"Just for a bit."

Yun Duo was a little resistant. "Why can't you come over?"

"Ok, I'll be right there!"

Yun Duo: "..." He was just waiting for this, wasn't he?

Tang Yi-Bai appeared faster than the speed of the Flash. After he entered the room, the first thing he did was to chase Er-Bai out and the shut the door properly. Click, and lock it.

Yun Duo stared at him warily. "Why did you lock the door?" He can't be planning to do anything bad, right...?

Tang Yi-Bai coughed awkwardly. "Dog-proofing." He walked forwards to see Yun Duo folding clothes. "Can I help?"

"No need." Yun Duo paused and tilted her head to look at him. She asked, "What's the fun thing you wanted to tell me about?"

"Emm," he pursed his lips, gently squeezing her face, and then he smiled and said, "I think I am quite fun. Why don't you play with me?"
