Both of them were still in disbelief because of the kiss, but for different reasons. Clay couldn't believe that his long time crush on her wasn't just one sided. Winnie, on the other hand, couldn't believe she had been so blind to the way he makes her feel. Both of them were on cloud nine.
They pulled up to her house, sad to part, but hearts full. Bruno Mars played softly in the background, the melody adding to the joyous atmosphere.
"So this was...fun," she uttered, turning to face him while the car came to a stop.
"Yeah." They stared at each other, grinning.
"I'll talk to you tomorrow. Or whenever I want attention," she closed.
