It's a Challenge [Dream team x Reader] UPDATES PAUSED

Part 1

So this is still kind of like a prologue, but it describes the details of how this world works.

Y/n POV

The rising sun shines in my eyes as they flutter open. Sitting up I stretch and admire the beautiful meadow I am lying in.

After a while of sitting there I finally realize where I am.

"What the heck" I look around for anyone. "HELLO" I yell my voice fading off into the distance.

"I am totally screwed, where am I" I look around at the world before you.

"This looks like Minecraft, this has to be a dream.  I'm dreaming, that makes sense"

I feel something tight around my wrist and I start to mess with it. "It's a ...watch?"

I tap it to try and turn it on and a message appears in front of me and a voice booms from all around.

"Hello player, welcome to the challenge. Here in this world you will be tested in every way possible, your only goal is to past the tests and survive."

"Simple enough" I mutter.

"The challenges will slowly get more difficult as you continue through the tests. Your first challenge is to survive the night, good luck"

The message disappears and I am left with what looks to be a Minecraft inventory. Tapping the watch again the inventory disappears.

'This is a really vivid dream'

Slowly I start to walk towards the trees in the distance keeping note of where I came from.

"How am I supposed to get wood...do I punch it?"

Reeling back my fist I throw it at the tree a few times and sure enough it breaks.

'Holy shit that hurts, great job y/n' you walk over to the broken block and it disappears.

'Where did it go'

I tap the watch and the screen pops up.

"There it is, this is a lot like the real game."

I continue punching the tree until it is gone "luckily this isn't real life where you bleed" I mutter looking down at my hand that looks perfectly normal.

I open my inventory and place the blocks into the 2x2 crafting table making wooden planks and a crafting table.

Placing the crafting table down I make a pickaxe and get some cobblestone.

After making a full set of stone tools I look up and see that the day is almost over.

'I better hurry and get some wood'

Taking your axe I cut down the block trees until you have enough for a decent sized house.

I start to run back to the field where you woke up, but I can't run anymore. Looking down at my wrist I see that I am down to three hunger bars.

Opening my inventory I take out the apples I got from the trees and bite into them. I wasn't even halfway done with it when it disappears.

"What the heck I wasn't done with that" you yell into the air.

Stalking back to the meadow I build a quick yet nice starter home to wait out the night in. 'This is definitely the weirdest dream I've had in a while"

Sighing I stare out the window I watch the sunset and the darkness consume the world.
