"wait no let's watch titanic!" Abby laughs still looking for a movie
If you're a little confused, after my and chases conversation we went out to go eat dinner at a sea food place. I'm not a huge fan of seafood but it was really good
Now were all in the living room chill area picking out a movie to watch in our pjs with popcorn and candy
"that movie is so sad" I wine
"yeah that movie is to fucking long" chase tells everyone
"its okay we love a good cry and once you're watching time flies" my mom tells me and chase
"fine" we agree
There are two three couches in the living room
My mom and chases mom are on one sharing popcorn and sobbing while I was sitting on one, but chase decided to join me
"give me some of the blankets its fucking cold" chase tells me
"no, I'm cold"
"give me half at least" he says before he pulls the half off me and puts it on himself
Somehow I ended up sitting right in between chase's legs so we can share the blanket more evenly
Were almost two hours into the movie and I can feel tears threatening to spill, but I don't want to cry I can't cry in front of chase again
And just for a dumb movie
I can tell chase notices my facial expression and my glossy eyes because I can feel his arms go around my waist and him whispering into my ear
"just let it out, you're okay" he whispers
I can start to feel the tears fall, but not just because of the movie because of chase
Why is he acting like this?
He doesn't like so me why is he comforting me?
.....
"gets me every time" I hear my mom say when the movie is done, and I half laugh but it comes out more of a sob
I'm an absolute mess, but good thing I'm not wearing mascara or anything so its not smudged and I wasn't facing chase so he couldn't see me till I have to get up
"were going to go wash the dishes you kids can go to bed, were going to the beach tomorrow too" my mom says before they walk out and into the kitchen and now its just me and chase
I get up from his legs and bring the blanket with me and cover my face before walking away but I'm stopped by my wrist being grabbed and I'm turned around to face chase
I look down and start to wipe the tears, but my chin gets lifted and chase does it for me
He slowly uses his thumb to wipe away the tears, his eyes never leaving my gaze
Once he's done we stand there for a minute with his hand on my check before he pulls me into a hug
"its okay ellie, you don't ever have to hold back your tears for me" he whispers, and I sob into his shoulder
Why am I so pathetic
"thank you" I mumble
"okay let's get you to bed, you need your beauty sleep" he winks
"and he's back" I giggle whipping away the last tear
He chuckles and shrugs
When we get upstairs I go to the bathroom and splash water on my face to clean up the redness a little and then get into my warm blankets of my bed
A couple minutes later the bathroom door opens to reveal chase, and chase in only his boxers
He walks over to his bed and lays down covering himself shortly after before saying
"stop eye fucking me"
"I wasn't!"
He just winks
I'm leaning on my shoulder while he's on his so were facing each other
"whatever" he chuckles
"goodnight chase" I say before turning around and closing my eyes
"I love you Elliana" I hear a faint whisper before I fade into a deep sleep

fun fact: i literally sobbed for hours, even when the movie ended, and i was watching that movie with my family it was so bad-
