Today is Monday morning and I just three on some jean short and my white hoodie and shoes
I have to go to school today, but chase hasn't responded yet and I need to know if he's okay
I texted Abby asking but she said she doesn't know where he is, but I have no idea what that means

"Hey guys" I greet the new couple when I come to school
"hey ells" maya smiles
"I have science again today" I sigh
"I have English! Lucky" Bryce wines
"oh, hey ill catch up with you guys later bye!" Bryce says as he walks over to the football team
"have you heard from chase?" maya asks as I shake my head
"I don't know what's up with him?" she asks
"I don't know ill ask during science maybe" I say
"okay see you at lunch" she smiles as I walk down the hall towards my science class

I sit down as the teacher talks then makes us do work without partners, but I just can't
"can I use the bathroom?" I ask
"sure, take the pass" she says as I walk out of the class and down the hall
When I get into the bathroom I pull out my phone as my name hovers over chases number
I press it and hold my phone up to my ear only to come to a voicemail
"hey chase, ..its me ella um, I was just calling to make sure your okay right now and if you need me, ill be here for you.." I drift off as I shake my head and just send it probably sounding so dumb

When school gets out I get in my car and put on some music as I drive, and my car takes me to chase's house
I know he probably want to be alone with what is happening right now, but I just can't think about what happened or why he isn't answering me
But I just hope its not his dad this time
I get out of the car and walk up to the door and knock
"ella!" she greets me with a smile
"good afternoon" I smile back crossing my arms and talking a deep breath
"what can I do for you?" she asks
"is chase around?" I ask
"um..no he's not, sorry" she says
"oh okay, well are you okay?" I ask
"yeah I'm all good, have a nice night"
"you too" I smile before she closes the door and I take one last breath
I get back in my car and lay my head down on the steering wheel when I release I'm the dumbest person in the world
