"Get up, Kirari. You need to get dressed; Mother and Father are waiting for you," Ririka insisted, her voice laced with determination.

"It can wait till morning, Ririka. I'm tired," Kirari mumbled, her voice heavy with exhaustion.

"It can't wait till tomorrow. Get up now, Kirari, or I'll tell Father you're defying him," Ririka warned, her tone stern.

With a resigned sigh, Kirari relented. "Dear sister, why can't you be as sweet and loving to me as you are to Mary Saotome?"

"Because I'm the older sister. I don't have to be nice to you. Now get up, or I will tell Father!"

Ten minutes passed by, the quiet tension in the air palpable. It was a heavy, unsettling silence that enveloped the Momobami residence.

Narrator's POV

Kirari, now fully dressed, walked down the dark corridor towards the family meeting room. Her sister, Ririka, accompanied her, wearing a stern expression. Thoughts churned in Kirari's mind as she wondered why her father had summoned them at this hour. When she entered the room, she expected only her parents to be present. However, what she found exceeded her expectations.

Kirari's POV

As I entered the meeting room, I couldn't help but feel bewildered. It was packed; the whole family was here, including the Batubamis and the Jabamis, all seated in their assigned places. But there were more empty chairs than there should have been, and I couldn't help but wonder why.

"Kirari, I guess you're wondering why we requested you to come to a meeting at such short notice?" my father spoke.

"Yes, I do," I replied, puzzled. "But I also have another question: why are there more chairs than needed, Father?"

"Well, that's because we have guests," my father announced, a cold smile playing on his lips.

Just as he spoke those words, the massive wooden doors swung open to reveal the (L/N) family. They walked in, taking up all the extra seats. I took my seat at the head of the family, and (Y/N) assumed her position at the head of her family.

"Welcome, (L/N) clan. We are grateful to have you gathered here," my father said coldly, his tone tinged with intrigue.

"Stop bluffing, Momobami. We know why you gathered us here," (M/N), (Y/N)'s mother, replied.

"Well then, why have I?" My father responded with a smirk.

"Because you want our daughters to gamble for each of our family names, is that so?" (Y/N)'s mother inquired.

"Hmm, not quite what I was thinking. It's more like we gamble our daughters' lives!" My father declared.

(Y/N)'s POV

"What? That's insane! Why would you even consider this?" I protested.

"Because, young lady (Y/N), it's what gambling is about, is it not?" kirari's father's words left me momentarily speechless.

"Wait, Father, please don't do this. I forbid it!" Kirari cried out, her voice filled with desperation. Her father turned to her, his anger evident.

"Kirari, you may be the head of the family, but I'm still your father. Do not ever raise your voice at me again. I did not bring you up to be disrespectful. You still have to do as I tell you. Now, shut up and go sit by your sister, or I'll give you something to really whine about!"

Slowly, Kirari stood up and walked over to sit by ririka as Mr. Momobami took her place.

"Gosh, I never thought I would bring up such an uncivil, ungracious, impolite, insolent child such as you. Why can you not be as well-mannered, kind, and sweet as your darling older sister, Ririka? Did I not discipline you enough?" Mr. Momobami sneered.
