"Ray...

I love you."

Your heart missed a beat and the color drained from your face. The cold breeze flows in from one of the open windows and it chills your bones. Jimin stepped forward.

"Don't you love me?"

He asks, moving closer and closer. You wanted to drawback. You wanted to get out of there. You wanted to yell and scream and just run away like you always did.

But his gaze held you in place.

"I thought you did."

He crouched down bending a knee to the floor as he reached out with his fingers, gently caressing your cheeks, wiping away your tears. A sad smile graced his lips.

"Only you can help me, Ray."

He sounded strained as if he was trying hard to not let his emotions take control. A rogue tear left his eyes and slid down his cheeks. You felt your resolve falter as did his smile. The next thing he said broke your heart.

"I'm scared."

You notice that he was breathing heavily

You notice that he was breathing heavily. Sweat glistened on his skin even though the night was chilly. His eyes were red and Jimin spoke as if it took immense effort to utter them.

"If you can't love me, then I can't go on."

His arms fell to the side and Jimin collapsed onto the ground.

"Jimin!"

You yell, crawling to his side. His skin was cold to touch. You place your finger on his neck trying to get his pulse. It was extremely low and that's when you notice the trail of glistening crimson blood he had left behind and the bloody knife that lay behind. The blood on his knife was not someone else's. It was his own.

Blood flowed out of the cut on his wrist.
