"Spirits, Aurora is beautiful." I murmur as the ship rumbles ,"who in the maker allowed her to be like that?"

The rest of the squad turn to me, puzzled expressions on their faces.

"What the Maker are you saying?" Tyler asks.

"It's nothing." I mutter, and resume staring at Aurora out of the corner of my eyes.

Her head is hung low, hair hanging in her eyes. She taps her foot against the metal, her dress bouncing up and down.

"Oh my makerrrrrrrrrrrr." I groan ,"please let me love her."

Scarlett snorts under her breath, but I continue talking.

"And her eyes and her smile and her hair and ughhhhh."

"Feeling sorry for yourself, huh?" Scarlett asks, and my blood runs cold.

"Maybe." I admit.

"Well, quit being a pussy and ask her out."
