Cheryl's POV
The day before the battle

I walked onto the field serpent and vultures going at it. The serpents were winning  when I heard Micah scream my name "aye redhead come save your girl" she had toni with a knife of her neck choking her. My face dropped as tears started gathering in my eyes. Please no I said as I walked slowly over but before i could finish micahs hand was sliding across Toni's neck blood instantly going everywhere as a ran towards toni.
I popped my head up breathing hard in my bed sweaty from head to toe realizing it was just a dream. I texted toni still shook by my dream

Toni?
Yea babe you okay?
No
Why? What happed? Are you hurt
No. I had a really bad dream
Incomeing Facetime call from baby🤩😼
I answerd and toni was In her kitchen drinking what looked like a pepsi with a worride expression on her face
Babe what happened in the dream
The serpents were winning the fight against the vultures when micha grabbed you and slit your neck
Babe its okay it wasnt real
No you don't get it toni. You died YOU DIED.
Tears started coming down my face as I said those last words
Babe I'm on my way
No! I'm fine. And with that I hung up the phone threw it on the floor and got in my bed. I went to sleep felling horrible with the thought of toni on my mind. I don't know what I would do if she died tomorrow. I mean she wouldn't. She promised me right?
The next day

I woke up to 10 miss calls from toni and 26 messages. I ignored them. I'll just talk to her at school. I got up and went to my closet picking out a really cute outfit and went to get ready for what was going to happen today

Toni POV

I called cheryl and texted her more that a multiple amount of times.  No response.  I was in my bed sleep and woken up to sweets and fangs coming in telling me to wants to meet after school and get up and get ready. I groaned really loud as fangs pulled me up "you ready toni"? Today is not the day to be laying around especially since jugheads still pissed that you offered yourself as a prize. Ik ik let's go I said pushing them out as I got ready. We all pulled up to school and I couldn't think of the battle all I thought of was cheryl. We walked in the lounge everyone sitting talking about the battel today when I heard Kevin say maybe I can tell my dad and get the vultures arrested. No! I said making my presence know as they all looked at me. I don't want any of you involved let me deal with it. Cheryl can I speak to you I said as she got up following me to the bathroom with her arms crossed

because I can't imagine loosing you. What happens when you go and fight and loose your leaving me.
As cheryl was talking she didn't stop crying
Babe calm down I said while pulling her into a hug kissing her forehead
I put my hands on each side of her face so now she was facing me
I love you cheryl and you wanna know how I'm not going to lose
How? She said looking away
Because I have you. I promised you that I'll be okay right? She turned her head and didn't answerd but I grabbed her chin with my finger and kissed her. It felt like it was well needed as are mouths moved together when I broke the kiss.
Right? I said repeating myself
She nodded and smiled as she went. Back in for another kiss as we walked out

School was over and as me jug,fangs, and sweets were leaving cheryl,veronica and Betty came up to us. Where are you guy s going? Betty asked
We have a meeting to prepare us for later I said
Well we re coming to veronica said
No jughead stepped In and said. We don't want you guys involved
Fine cheryl said as she walked closer to me.
Be careful toni. I love you and if you do anything stupid you won't have to worry about micah killing you. I chuckled as she kissed me and grabbed betty and veronica walking to her car

No one POV

The 4 serpents pulled up to the white wyrm seeing serpents they'd never seen before surrounding the bar inside and out. The guessed everyone knew who they were as they were walking towards the inside people cleared the path for them. Dad who are all these other people jughead asked once seeing his father grabbing knives, brass knuckles, and guns ou of the back.  Extra protection was all he said as he as he told the 4 or them to follow him on the stage. All the serpents were soon over crowded in the bar as he started to speak with jughead, sweets toni,fangs, and Joaquin behind him.
"Tonight we will fight micha and her gang and as you all know she and her team are going to kill so we need to keep our eyes open. Grab whatever you need that will help you fight. If we win they leave but if she wins she takes toni. And as most of you know toni has been and this gang since birth and has never turned her back on us once. We are going to protect her because that's who micha going to be going after and anyone if your way that is not wearing that serpent jacket take them down.
Once he got done explaining where everyone is going to be toni went and text cheryl
Hey babe what you doing?
Nothing. With betty and veronica. There keeping me on edge. I'm scared toni.. I don't want anything bad happening to you
Babe I'm going to be fine and as soon as WE WIN I'm coming right over there and cuddling with you for the rest of the nigh ok?
