Through the Window

Part 11

*1 MONTH TIME SKIP*

A lot has happened this past month. you would not believe. Jacinto is still not talking to me. its literally been a month and he hasn't said more than 5 words to me. he's literally come to my house with everyone said nothing and left 5 minutes after. I am so done with him right now. I've got to figure this out by tonight or I will lose my mind. 

aside from that, me and adonis seem to be fine i guess. the first 2 weeks of our relationship, he was super sweet but at some point... 

he became so dismissive, he doesn't listen to a thing i say, he doesn't ask to hang out, he says he's always busy. it started small at first, where he would stop listening as i talked and play it off with a smile, but now... he doesn't even act like he cares and brushes me off without a second thought. so i guess i lied when i said we seem to be fine. i am getting sick of all the men in my life at this moment.

anyways today i have soccer so..,

who needs therapy when you can literally run around your problems ;)

i find Nora and walk to my car driving us down to the park we practice at.

the stupid boys get the normal field at the school. but i guess its smart since students cant creep on the girls as we practice.

"Nora i dont like him." i say for the fifth time rolling my eyes and falling back on the grass waiting for coach to get here.

"but Mira i see the way you look at him. and the way he looks at you its impossible. you like him." she says staring at me intensely and i shake my head staring up at the sky.

"not like he's even looked at me for the past month" i roll my eyes before continuing, "but even still, hes just my best friend. thats all. i wouldnt be in a relationship with Adonis if i thought i would be stuck on Javi. i dont like him like that." i say sighing quietly but she hears it and i glance at her seeing a smirk covering his face as she moves to lay next to me.

"oh lena, what have you gotten yourself into?" she says an amused air to her voice.

"i believe you when you say youre not leading Adonis on but that doesn't mean you dont have feelings for Javi. or that he doesnt have feelings for you." she starts looking over at me trying to search my eyes for a tell of my emotions.

"Nora he has a girlfriend and they both hate me right now." i say looking at her confused by her insinuations and she laughs at me.

actually laughs at me. shes gone insane. officially this time.

"Lena youre kidding right. that girl isnt serious to him. and the way hes acting now that youre dating adonis, there is no way he doesn't have feelings for you." she says and i open my mouth to speak before pausing.

she makes a fair point. he doesnt seem to be serious about Shailee but that doesnt mean he likes me. and he has ignored me for A MONTH because im dating adonis but if anything that solidifies that he hates me.

"that doesnt mean he likes me" i tell her my voice quiet sounding petty and passive aggressive.

"whatever you say." she says simply a smile clear in her voice as she hides her chuckles.

"GIRLS ON THE FIELD" coach yells telling us its time to start practice.

by the end of practice im sore and tired and hungry. so so hungry.
