The Date

Kaida POV

I woke up to warmth surrounding my body, a strong grip on my waist, and our legs tangled together. I lift my head up to look at him, and began stroking his cheek. 'He's looks relaxed in a way, it's still hard for me to get used to waking up to his cuteness! I love him so much, it's unbelievable.' "Are you going to stare at me all day?" I heard his husky voice I felt my face heat up "NO!... I mean no I don't plan on it." I began mumbling. I felt him release me from his hold as he began getting out of bed. "Ne Ilu, where are we going today?" I said following him to the restroom to begin my morning routine. "I'm not telling you. Don't worry it's not some cringy place." He said stripping, as I finished my morning routine I couldn't help but let my mind wonder. I just want to now! Perhaps a mission for just the two of us! I just don't want anything to ruin this day." "Kaida, are you getting in?" He asked me with such an innocent look on his face. "Yeah give me a minute," I said as I took off my clothes and washed myself before stepping into the bath. "Ne Ilu, how do you think Killua is doing?" I ask leaning my back against his chest. "Hm.. I'm sure he's fine. He is a zoldyck." He said wrapping his arms around me, after some time in the bath we got out and began getting ready to go on our date that he planned out.

"You're not wearing a Kimono today?" Illumi asked as he watched me get dressed and put on my accessories and fix my hair. "Yeah, I thought I'd try something different." I said walking to the door, as he followed behind. "Nee-san! Will you come see how I've improved!" Kallu-chan approached us as we were walking towards Canary's post. "Sorry Kallu-chan today me and Ilu are going to spend some time together. I'll be sure to watch you're improvement later on okay?" I pat his head and grabbed ahold of Illumi's hand as we walked out together. "Ne, where are we even going? Can't you just tell me already?!" I complained but he remained indifferent, we came to what was a high class café where we first met. "I know how much you loved the chocolate croissants from here, so I figured we can start our date off here." He said with a faint blush on his face I leaned in and kissed his cheek "Ilu you're so thoughtful." His eyes widened as a faint blush grew on his pale face. I giggled at his cuteness.

Chrollo had told me to come meet him to discuss our next job, I listened while playing with the straw of my drink. "Wait not everyone is going?" I asked confused. "No. We are going to be split off into groups to pull this off." He sighed. I hummed in response as he continues on, the door to the cafe has been opened and closed numerous times. So why, why did I feel the need to look over? I couldn't help but stare at the tall thin man that walked in. He was oddly attractive and mysterious. Big black emotionless eyes, long black hair, pale complexion, long slender fingers, he appeared lanky and thin, but it was obvious that he had a muscular build. Maybe I could slip my way into a conversation with him? No, don't be ridiculous you have a job coming up. "Kaida. Are you listening?" I turned to Chrollo and sighed "I'm sorry I wasn't." He just chuckled "Kaida you know that guy you were looking at is a Zoldyck." He said in a malicious tone. I put my attention back on the man that is a Zoldyck, and ended up making eye contact with him for the rest of my time in that cafe with Chrollo. After finishing our conversation warned me before we went our separate ways. "Kaida don't hesitate to kill, I don't need to lose another dear friend." He said staring into my soul, "Chrollo I'll be fine." I reassured him as I walked away.
