Kaida's POV

I watched as the guards for the mafia leaders began exiting the building with guns, do they honestly think that guns will stop us? Pathetic. Me and the rest of the troupe began attacking. I let my flames take over not caring about what was in my way. One guy managed to survive through my flames, but it was no use he was as good as dead. "W-Wh-y are-e you all do-ing this?" He asked limping towards me, his skin was basically burnt off his body his arms were covered in blisters, blood dripping from his face, arms, and left leg, his left side of his face was burnt they blood was dried up and all you could was the flesh from his face. I couldn't help smirk at watching him struggle "Why you ask. The real question is 'Why not? You should just give it up I'll give a nice quick death so you won't worry about the pain." I saw as he stopped and reach for his pocket knife and lunged at me. "LIKE HELL! I'D NEVER GIVE UP YOU STUPID BITCH! TRY TO KILL ME !" He yelled while lunging towards me with his knife. "Heh. You people are so pitiful, it almost makes me feel bad." I  watched his futile attempt to cut me, Instead of my blue flames surround me. Lightning began to emit from my flames. "Let's see if you can handle my torture techniques." I said with a smug smile.

I let my aura release and lighting began to rise and expand, the scent of burning flesh was everywhere. I laughed at their pathetic pleads for help, once I calmed my aura we separated to look for Chrollo. I walked into the building and noticed how there was blood scattered all over the place, I called Shalnark. "Shalnark have any of you seen Chrollo?" While looking at my perfectly manicured nails. "Oh! Danchou was waiting to fight some people before we came. We're gonna go in a little he wanted to have his fun first!" Shalnark said "Hmm... okay I'll be there." I said hanging up, as I walked up the stairs I heard a big ruckus of multiple voices. They sound familiar. I walked closer and as I opened the door I was beyond shocked. Chrollo was fighting Silva and Zeno? I began walking up next to Silva, as he reached the floor "Silva you all seem to be enjoying yourselves." I said taking in the big mess their fight came with. "Kaida did you know that he would be waiting for someone. More specifically us?" Silva asked waiting for any detectable movement. "Hm. I didn't, I suspect he was waiting for a chain user that killed one of the troupe members." I said with my hand raised to my chin, "We believed him to be here as he works as a bodyguard for one of the mafia families." I said before my phone started ringing. "Illu? I thought you had a job to do?" I said as I looked at my perfectly manicured nails. "Yeah, where's my client." He said in his usual monotonous voice. "He's right here." Silva said behind me in his loud toned voice. Chrollo and Zeno threw large pieces of rubble off of themselves. "Oh we're they fighting?" I snickered at his faux surprised tone. "Is he still alive?" Oh Illu you truly are a dull man. "Yeah he is" I said as the three began staring at me. "Just in the nick of time... That's a relief." I sighed as he was dragging this conversation along. "Well, relay a message. I've killed the Ten Dons." He said I looked at Chrollo with a smirk, I see. That was your intention all along. "Tell him to wire the money to my account as we agreed. I talk to you later Kaida." He said before hanging up, I looked up at the three of them. "It seems we both get to live another day" Zeno said dusting himself off a bit, "Aren't you supposed to kill me? You won't get another chance." Chrollo said looking up at us. "We were hired by the ten dons. Now that they're all dead you're no longer our target." Zeno said as he turned his head to the side a little. Chrollo grinned "Did you know that I hired Illumi to assassinate the ten dons?" As he looked into my eyes to search for a reaction. "Of course, we knew Chrollo." I said rolling my eyes, "But that's irrelevant." I continued, "Kaida is right. Do you truly believe that we kill for pleasure? We don't do this for fun. I refuse to work for nothing or die for nothing. We simply do the job we're hired for." Zeno said while facing the door, I watched Chrollo's face only to see a grin slightly taking place on his face. "I see... if you and I were to fight one on one, who would win?" I watched as Zeno turned his head over his shoulder to look at him. I couldn't help but see a smug look on his face while asking that question. "Most likely I would. Unless you actually try to kill me. Honestly you're a cheeky kid." Zeno said as he came up to me as we began walking towards the door, while Silva was not too far behind. "Kaida when will you be coming home? Kalluto has been asking for you." Zeno began, I looked at him and said "I should be home by tonight with Illu." I walked with them until we reached the bottom of the staircase, once they left I began going back to where the troupe had Korotopi conjure up replicas of the auction items. I pulled Chrollo to the side to talk, "Ne, I'm gonna be going home for a little I should be back in a couple days.
If anything were to happen give me a call." I said after everything was placed in the hideout I said bye to everyone before going to meet Illu. As I reached out designated spot, I saw his silhouette standing on the balcony of the cafe. I wrapped my arms around his waist once I was near him. I felt him lean into my touch, "Did you have a long day?" He asked as he began wrapping his arm around my shoulders and leaned down to kiss the top of my head. I hummed in response, "Shall we go home now." I nodded my head as we got into the car that was waiting for us.

"Ne, Illu do you think something bad would happen to me?" I said squeezing his hand, "Mm. No," I tilted my head to look at him, "I wouldn't let anything happen to you." I couldn't help but smile at his blunt answer. I leaned in and placed a slow kiss onto his lips, I felt his hand place itself on my cheek and he responded to my kiss. "Illumi sama, and Kaida sama we've arrived at the mansion." The driver said we pulled away and exited the car. As I stepped out the car I saw Kalluto standing outside the gates, "Kaida nee-san!! You're home!" He ran over to me. I couldn't help but smile at how cute he is, "I'm home Kalluto, have you been doing well with training?" As he had his arm wrapped around my waist. "..oh... yeah! Oji-san has been helping with my training." We all walked to the Mansion as Kalluto talked about his recent trainings.

Upon our arrival the butlers greeted us, "Ne Kalluto, me and Illu are going to go freshen up okay? We'll see at dinner." I kissed his head as I followed Illumi up to our room. "Shower or bath?" I heard, 'a shower would be nice and quick, but I want to soak in relaxing water' "A bath please." I said while going to the bathroom. Once the water was boiling hot we began stripping our clothes to wash ourselves before going into the bath. "Illu can you wash my hair for me." His long slender fingers tugged at my hair ever so while making sure to be through. "Kaida have you thought about us having kids?" Illumi asked as he rinsed my hair, my eyes widened at this. "I wouldn't mind having kids, but my field in work could put the child at risk." I said looking down blush covering my cheeks. "I see. Then you'll just have to stay here." He said rinsing his hair, "What? But what if the troupe needs me? Or Killua, Alluka or Kalluto are in trouble. I can't just stay here." I began ranting as I paced in front of the tub. I watched him stand up and walking towards me as he raised right hand I expected a head pat, only to receive a finger flick. "Kaida it'll be fine. You're being overdramatic." He said getting into the tub, I stood there rubbing my head pouting. I sighed and sat in front of him my back to his chest as, his arms were around me. We sat there for some time then I felt his left hand caressing my curves, while his right made its way up my breast. I couldn't but letting out whimpers as he began kissing my neck. My hand reached up the back of his head tugging on his hair.

Once he pulled away, I turned to face him and slammed my lips onto his, he quickly lifted me up as he stepped out the tub. Instead of going to the bed he placed me on the counter. I said wondering why I'd be here, "That's strange." Machi said. "Yeah, it's only happened if...." Once I realized I began looking at my surroundings and saw that Paku was injured.
