LOVED AND LOST

CHAPTER 6

Kanav's POV:

Today is my second day at work place. I am just so excited. My boss, she is such a different kind of a woman. I actually don't know what to say about her. She is rude and she is bold. She is strong and she is fierce. She has a graceful nature which goes along with her bossy attitude. She is beautiful and she is simple. In other words, she is a unique piece, a piece of art. 
And that's the reason why I love to irritate her. I could see yesterday how angry and irritated she was with me. It got a little better when her best friend came but then again when he also favored me more than her, her temperature rose up to extreme. Aah it's so funny to see her like that, with an angry pout and a red face. 

I woke from the bed hurriedly. Oh shit, I lost so much of time thinking about all this. It's 7:38 am and I have to reach before 9 by hook or by crook. I ran to the washroom and then cleaning my bed I walked to the kitchen. Passing Dad's coffee to him with a good morning, I walked up to Kavi's room. This girl is still in her dreamland.  

Kanav: Kavi, baby get up. 

To which she didn't pay any attention.

Kanav: Princess, please wake up. Or you will be late right?

And heard her whimpering beneath the blanket. I took off the blanket from her face and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. A smile spread on her lips.

Ira: Good morning Bhai.

Kanav: Morning baby.

She got from her sleeping position and hugged me tightly.

Kanav: You go and freshen up and I will clean the bed. 

She was walking towards the washroom with her eyes still closed. And then I saw she was about to hit the pillar.

Kanav: Kavi careful...

I screamed and Kavi immediately opened her eyes in a jolt. She then turned towards me and gave me a sheepish smile. I shook my head at her. This girl....

Kanav: Dad, Kavi... I will go or I will be late.

Ajay: But breakfast...

Kanav: No Dad, today is my second day. If I will be late my boss will throw me out.

I again started to go when I heard Kavi shouting.

Ira: Bhai... first breakfast then you go wherever you want. Breakfast is ready, come and have it.

Kanav: Kavi...

I looked at her with a pleading look and she glared at me. I quietly sat down beside Dad.

Ira: When does your office hours start?

Kanav: From 9.

I answered to her while gulping the roll altogether.

Ira: Bhai... why you have fasten the time of your watch. You always do this. There is still half an hour to be 9. 

I looked at her and stopped eating.

Ira: Now please eat like a human...not like a dinosaur, gulping everything in one go.

Kanav: Shravya, your coffee.

She looked up at me and nodded.

Shravya: By the way, what changes were you talking about in my design last night?

Kanav: Wow, you remember it!
