Ira's POV:

How can this even be possible? Kavi, you are dreaming. I am sure you are dreaming. Sapnon mein bandh aankhon se dekhte dekhte, ab woh tujhe khuli aankhon se bhi dikhne lag gaya hain.

Siddharth: Kavi, come na.

God!! Is this real? I am going to faint. I should be happy or I should be sad? Yaar ye pet mein yeh ajeeb si kya gur-gur ho rahi hain. I can't talk to him. Let me do one thing, bol deti hun ki tabiyat thik nahi lag rahi hain aur room mein ghus jaati hun, phir aaungi hi nahi bahar. At least yahan, uske saamne bethkar baat karne se to yeh idea better hi hain.

Siddharth: Kavi, are you alright.

I jumped at my place hearing Sid Bhai's voice. Was I staring at him? Bhagwan ji please bacha lo.

Ira: Haan....

Siddharth: I have been calling you for so long. Where are you lost? Accha come, meet him. He's Samarth, my best friend since school.

Samarth: Hi!!

He wished forwarding his hand for a shake. No, I am not doing a shake. Folding hands would be a nice option. Yaar Kavi, ab inn dono ke saamne tu haath jodegi.
Haath de bhi de kya soch raha hoga tere baare mein (inner me)

Ira: H H..Hello.

God!! His hands are so cold and rough. I immediately drew my hand back.

Samarth: Kavi, right...

Ira: Nope. It's I..Ira.

Samarth: Ira. Nice name.

What is going on inside my tummy? I just had breakfast some time ago, I can't feel hungry right. At least not this soon.

Samarth: Aah.. Ira..

He looked at me questionably.

Ira: Yeah.. Ira.

Samarth: After that.

Ira: After that... what??

Samarth: I mean to ask, what's your surname?

SHIT!! You sounded so dumb Kavi. Stop staring at him.
He chuckled looking at my facial expressions.

Ira: Umm... Mathur. Ira Mathur.

He nodded.

Samarth: Sit na. It's your house only.

What the hell is going on? Why are they even here?

Siddharth: Where's your brother??

Ira: He's out for work.

Siddharth: Ohh okay. Kavi, we are actually here with a proposal for you.

WHAT!!

Samarth: Wait. Kavi we.. Aah, Can I call you 'Kavi'?

Ira: Yeah. No problem.

He smiled and it's still the same, curving towards his left side of the mouth. An innocent yet not so innocent smile.

Samarth: So, I will stop beating around the bush. Actually I am a dance choreographer.

Of course. I know that.

Samarth: And I planned a drama many years ago.

For which you have done many auditions, but still didn't found your miss perfect.
