Chapter 8 Aftermath

As I stood beside Henry who hasn't woke up yet, our medical team had given him some cybernetic enhancement's. Since his left arm was badly shot with a shot gun and his spine with three shots from a pistol. Our medical team given him a new arm and they replaced his spine with a new one. Once Henry woke after seeing his arm he immediately freaked out I comforted him as he had seen his new arm. Our medical team affirmed Henry that they were forced to replace Henrys spine and left arm because of the damage he sustain from his wounds. He looks at me unsure of what to do then RHM walks in and sees Henry and says to Henry "now you know how it feels. The pain I have went through because of you and now look at you you have cybernetic enhancement's as well." RHM chuckles "you know henry I had the same reaction that you had once I got my cybernetic enhancements I freaked out then I cried now I'm used to it and I like having my cybernetics. For along time I held a grudge against you now I respect you as one of the best leaders in toppat history."

Henry let out some tears then he started to test out his enhancements he pulled out his jetpacks quickly then he retracted them. He started to pull out a baseball bat then he went back to his hand. Henry sighing thanked the medical team for saving his life he walks out of the medical room. I followed behind him as we went to the brigs when we got there one of the cells had Galeforces body in there. Henry looks at me and ask "jeez how many times have you shot him" I simply replied "I don't know and I don't care." Henry opens the brig looks at Galeforce takes his hat and says "goodbye old man." Then Henry shuts the door and ejects Galeforces body into space. As we watched Galeforce float around I said to Henry "what now we have stopped a government attack on our base and now we have their ships now to defend us." Henry looks at me pats me on the back and says "I don't know but at least I didn't lose you now I have this souvenir to hang on our wall in our quarters."

Both me and Henry smiled and walk back to our living area passing by Charles cell as we were walking we hear Charles scream "NO NOT THE GENERAL NO." We could hear him start crying Henry goes back to the cell and opens it and hugs Charles saying "its ok I'm here with ya." Charles angrily screams "I don't need your comfort my... the... General is...dead." Then he goes back to crying and I say to Henry "Henry lets go back to the quarters alright." Henry looks at me "alright Ellie lets head on back." Then he leaves the cell walking to the quarters with me by his side saying "man this feels weird having this arm that can turn into a laser blaster, a baseball bat, a blade, gun, and  a thing that I can absorb stuff with." I asked "does it do anything else?" He re[lied "yes it has jetpacks on the back I can pull a space helmet out of my spine so that I can breath and I feel theirs more but I will let you know if these enhancements have more features." We nodded as we made it to our living space home sweet home Henry goes onto the couch to watch the damage the toppat clan has done. I sit right next to him as the reporter Alice Hamilton reports on the situation.

"Breaking news the toppat clan had attacked two government base in just a span of two days. The first attack in the Dogobogo jungle was to rescue two members that were captured by unknown reasons. Fourteen members of the government were killed in action by the toppat chiefs assistant Ellie Rose." We both look at each other with big smirks on our faces as Henrys puts his arm around me. "The second attack was in the Mohave Desert near one of the military's top secret bases. The attack started as the Government were planning to take out the toppat clan once and for all. As they were unloading the trucks one truck had around a dozen members including the toppat chief and his assistant hiding inside some boxes. Footage from the event shows the toppat chief and his assistant opening the door from the ship where the general and a few other members were in trying to get the final preparations ready for the attack. Letting out ten members to steal the government ships the government was only able to take out one of the ships and two toppat members were killed. The bodies were identified as Carol Cross, and once music producer Kayn West. The toppat clan took the government ships into space we do not know whether or not the General has survived." Henry turns of the TV and says "he did not if that is what your wondering."

As me and Henry got up he wanted to make an announcement to our clan talking about the new ships that we stole from the government. So a couple of hours went by and as Henry was getting ready with his speech I was going around and checking on our oxygen, greenhouse, ventilation, and the supplies. I could hear Henry calling me on the microphone to meet him near the storage where we had the government ships at. As I was almost there Burt who is on the communications says that the chief needs to speak with everyone near the vehicle storage unit. As I opened the decontamination door to the storage I could see Henry on the other side waving at me. As the other side of the decontamination opened I could see the Skeld in the room it was half the size of the room and the four government ships that we stole are in their so I stood right next to Henry and waited for the clan to come.

Thirty minutes went by and most of the clan was there and Henry start to speak "everyone we had a rough couple of days but we are safe now. We have lost seven members over the pass three weeks. But now we have stolen five of the governments space ships one of them being the one you are seeing right now. Now the reason that I bring all of you is that with these government ships we are now able to defend the station much easier against any government attack on the station. Now I would like to honor Reginald Copperbotton former leader of the clan. Since he is a good friend of mine and was the former leader I would like to announce that he would be in charge of our new space ship division of the toppat clan." Reginald never thought that he would be able to lead something in the clan comes up feeling honored that he is able to lead the space snip division of the clan. "Henry I don't know what to say you stole these ships and now have me operate them as a division of the toppat clan." Henry shakes his head yes after a while around fifty members go inside the Skeld including Reginald and his RHM as the majority of the clan are outside of the room me and Henry test to see if we can test the new teleport system we installed onto the Skeld. As it was flying off in the distance we beam aboard just before the cockpit of the Skeld where Reginald was sitting and RHM by his side. Both like the promotion they got leading a division of the clan but not leading the entire clan. As me and Henry got onto the platform and beamed back onto the station Henry looks content with new division of the clan.
