"You can do this, Clary." Liam held my right hand as we sat on his leather couch in his living room, trying to find the courage to call Erin to let her know what I found out yesterday.

"What if the flashback isn't real?" I questioned.

"I believe it is real. It all makes sense that both of you were taken around the same time and you saw the man giving you injections and testing your memory. When you told me all that last night, it all made sense, but now we just gotta figure out who is behind it all and get Lucas back. You can do it. We are all on your side."He gave me a side hug.

I nodded as I watched Liam scroll through his phone to search for Erin in his contacts. He began to call her and handed the over to me. My legs were shaking and I was sweating in multiple places of my body including my hands, making it difficult to hold the phone to my ear.

    "Hello?" Erin soothing voice spoke.

"Hi Erin, it's Clary." I spoke, trying to project my voice loud enough she could hear me, but I failed.

"I'm sorry. Who is it again?"

I cleared my throat before speaking up, "it's Clary."

"Oh, Clary! I was just about to call you. Great minds think alike, right?" She laughed before continuing, "how are you doing?"

"I, uhm, I'm doing okay. How about you?"

"I'm doing good! Is there anything I can do for you?" She questioned with concern.

"I do not know if this information makes a difference or not, but I have been having flashbacks."

"Yes! It is important! Let me get my notepad and you can tell me everything." I heard her shuffling around in the background. A few moments went by before she spoke up again, " I am ready whenever you are. Tell me every detail you can remember because one small detail can change the playing field. Take your time." I nodded, going over the flashbacks in my mind, trying to remember which one was first.

"My first flashback was..." I carried on, describing the flashbacks in as much detail as I could. I was taking breaks every so often for her to catch up or to shed some tears.

"So you never saw the man's face, correct?" Erin asked once I was finished.

    "No," I said sadly.

"That's okay. I think you are making really good progress. But I am wondering if I could take you back to the liquor store on the night you woke up that you could show me which alley you woke up in."

I thought for a moment, biting my bottom lip. "It's worth a try."

"Do you have someone who could drive you?"

I glanced over at Liam with pleading eyes as he nodded. "Yes, I do."

"Alright I will see you around 1 p.m."

"Thank you so much, Erin." I repeated over and over.

She chuckled, "it's no problem. I'm here for you." Tears began to blur my vision and I was trying so hard to hold them back. I was glad to know I had a few people by my side because when I woke up in the alley, I thought I would never have anyone.

Once I hung up and handed Liam his phone, "you did a great job, Clary!" He hugged me as I sat there, feeling grateful for what I do have.

I was memorized by the scenery as we past multiple farms on our way to see the detective. I loved the open fields and the animals that were scattered across the field. Along with that, I was fascinated with the trees that were filled with bright red, orange, and yellow leaves.
