Hey!!! I'm so so so sorry for taking so long to update! I've had some serious writers block for this story but a comment from my last part gave me the motivation to keep writing!!! I hope you guys enjoy and comment what you think❤️❤️

Kara POV

"I'm in love with you Kara." Those are the last words I remember before passing out. My stomach pains had been growing over the past couple of days. Every morning I woke up to the feeling of pain in my stomach, as if I was going to vomit. Something had to be wrong with me.

After an unknown amount of time passed I woke up under the sun light in the DEO. Alex was sitting beside me, sleeping and Mon-el was in the chair beside her, also sleeping. "Alex?" I say lifting my hands to wipe the sleep out of my eyes. She wakes immediately at the sound of her name and smiles. "Good morning." I scrunch my eyes at her. "What?" Mon-el stirs and his eyes flutter open. They meet mine immediately.

He doesn't talk he just sits there. I don't say anything either. Yesterday had been a total nightmare. I learned the truth. The real truth. I didn't know how to feel.

"How are you feeling?" Alex asked, pulling me out of my dreadful thoughts. "I don't know. I feel sick." I answered.

Alex nodded. "I'm going to go see the nurse. Get her to come in here and take some tests." Alex left and me and Mon-el were left alone in the room.

"Kara. I just want to tell you, please don't feel obligated to make any decisions right now. Focus on getting better." I sighed.

"That's the issue Mon-el. I do love you. I have for a while now but I—"
His head drooped a little but he nodded. "I wouldn't forgive me either."

"I'm gonna stay at Alex's house for a little bit. You can have the apartment." He shook his head. "You don't have to leave. I should be the one leaving."

I raise a hand to stop whatever he was about to say next. "I was going to go anyway. I don't know what's wrong with me, obviously something but I can just stay until we figure this out."

He nodded and then Alex and the nurse walked in. "Ok Kara I'm going to take a few tests and then you can go." I nodded and watched as Mon-el walked out of the room, the normal confidence of his walked suddenly sapped.

"Everything ok?" Alex asked touching my arm. I turned and smiled up at her. "Yea. I'm ok."

The nurse got me to stand and do some physical tests. I passed those fairly quickly, though I did feel unusually tired. After that she ran some other tests, She swabbed my mouth and nose with a q-tip and then gave me a tiny bottle.

I took it, feeling awkward as I always did when asked to pee in a bottle. It was weird. After that I handed it to her and she walked off.

I grabbed my clothes and turned to Alex. "Hey do you mind if I crash with you for a while?" Alex turned to her an eyebrow arched.

"Is everything ok?" She asked, in her big sister voice. I smiled as big as I could manage. "Yea its—"
"Kara. Your my sister and your not the best at lying to me."

Kara rolled her eyes. "And we've come back to the blanket scenario." Alex sighed. "Are you going to hold that over my head forever?"

Kara smiled. "If you insist." Alex laughed and nodded. "Of course you can stay. If you need to talk about it I always have an open ear." Kara smiled.

"Thanks." Alex wrapped her in a hug. "No problem." Kara went and got dressed before heading out to her apartment to grab some stuff.

She new Mon-el wouldn't be there because he was taking over for her for a while, so she could focus on getting better.
