"Ah, really... Minnie-unnie. I didn't know you were becoming that old. You couldn't even stand all by yourself." Shuhua commented, but helped me nonetheless. Am I that old? Not really, I'm just asking for a little affection from her. Hmph!

"Why are you still here? Tired of playing with Yuqi?" We both gazed toward the Chinese girl who was with Soyeon now, observing her "artwork."

"Yes. Can I stay with you?" I didn't have to say anything, this girl would never accept a "no" for an answer.

Shuhua looked over to Miyeon, but Miyeon was looking everywhere but Shuhua's direction. What's up with this two? Oh right, last night. I have to talk with Shuhua later about that.

"Look, the sun was setting down. Shall we take a picture?" I asked them, but not really waiting for an answer as I took out my phone. "You two, go stand over there. Hurry! Before we lose the sun."

Miyeon's eyes widened, I saw it even though she tried to hide it immediately, Shuhua blinked twice. Oh this two, they didn't know I spied on them last night. The joy of knowing something that others don't. I felt so powerful, like any time I could control them if I wanted to. Do I sound like an evil mastermind? Anyway, I smirked internally with their awkwardness.

"How about you guys go for it and I'll take the picture?" Miyeon suggested, trying to get out of the situation, "After all, I've been spending my whole life here at this place, while you guys were barely out of the city."

Smooth reasoning, Cho Miyeon.

If I still insist of making the two go, they would suspect I knew something, I couldn't allow that now, could I? So yeah, I went with Shuhua near the shore line, placing my arm around her shoulder.

"Alright, I'm taking it. One.. Two.. Three." I heard the sound of my shutter went off for a few times. "Done."

Miyeon handed me my phone back.

"Shall we call those three?" I looked at the both of them, before they could volunteer to fetch the rest, I already claimed it and run to the three.

Yontararak, I didn't know you had this mean side on you? Hehehe. I simply looked back to see that they can't even look at each other's eyes! How cute. They have to talk about last night eventually, and I'm gonna be the bridge between them.

I know getting Shuhua's trust was hard, I experienced it first-hand. It took us over what.. two to three months or so? Soojin gained her trust the first few weeks, and through Soojin, Shuhua started opening up to us as well. Miyeon has been with us for just two weeks, yet she managed to make Shuhua talk to her within that span of time. Looking at it from my point of view, that was already an achievement. The two clicked in a different sort of way than one would expect. Wait... Am I getting a competition from Miyeon for Shuhua's list of favorite unnies?

** The first weekend I thought I could spend with our new dorm mate and with the girls was torn away from me when I remembered that I promised my family I would be home for the weekends. I still felt some pity for Miyeon because she's always alone at the dorm and we're too busy to hang out with her during the day. So Friday morning, when we had an early start, Soojin managed to cook us some breakfast, I suggested for her to reserved a bowl for Miyeon for when she woke up, Soojin happily obliged.

Before we left for school, I wrote a simple note for her. Hopefully, this could make up for the rejection to her offer yesterday.

At school, rumors about Miyeon has been circulating inside our class. The talks about how talented she is, how she could pass off as an actress, or how close she is with BlackPink sunbae-nim. Even the reason why she left YGU wasn't left untouched, saying it's because of the poor management of that school that forced her to leave, or even some speculation about being kicked out because she's dating a guy from the same school. I mean, was dating even such a crime? (Apparently, it was at that school, as per what I have known now from Miyeon). But honestly though, I'm curious as well as to why Miyeon transferred here at CUBE. YGU is one of the most respected school in South Korea, even just graduating from there could bring you to higher places. So why would a "pretty, talented girl" like her leave all those glory behind?

But now's not the time, I've got to focus, we have the weekly evaluation later. When our instructor entered the room, we were given the "go signal" to leave the class to practice our performance anywhere we preferred to. I've met up with Soojin but we went our separate ways as I went to the piano room, while she on one of the dance studio.

I don't like the constant stress that the weekly evaluation bring upon us all, so it was a relief everytime I finished one.

I went to the airport later that day, bringing only my wallet, phone, and passport with me. To travel light. That's what I learned after the countless travels my family and I underwent over the years. I have my clothes back at our house so I don't have to carry a luggage back and forth. **

The six of us took a lot of pictures together, our first memory captured in the digital photos. I hope there's a lot to come in the future too. We only have one year to stay together in the dorm as Miyeon and I were bound to graduate this school year, or if we get lucky and be chosen to debut as a group, then I don't have to worry about the years we have left. Browsing through the photo stream in my phone, I suddenly felt emotional, they're not just my friends, they're already my family, given that we've only met Miyeon last week, and the two younger ones, this year. We really need to train harder to debut at the same team together.

"It's already past six, let's go back?" Soyeon asked, but I could tell she wouldn't accept any answer besides "yes". She's cool that way.

"I'm sooo tired... Can someone carry me?" Yuqi whines as we started walking back to the Cho's residence.

"Song Yuqi. Quit whining. You're not that old. Even Minnie-unnie's not complaining. And she's old." I stopped on my track, throwing a glare on the savage Taiwanese' direction. It's kinda dark now so I guess, my glare is pointless. The other girls laughed, I huffed at the indirect insult.

I'm so tired as well, the beach is just a walking distance from the house we're staying, but we've played and ran around the sand, and I'm hungry as well that I also wanted to complain, but kept my mouth shut to prevent further insults. I swear I'm so out of shape these days, I need to exercise.

"Yuqi-ah. Come here, I'll carry you." Soyeon crouched down and extended her hands to her back.

"Can you carry her?" Miyeon asked, genuinely concerned, "I mean, Yuqi's taller than you, Soyeon-ah."

"Are we planning on insulting each other tonight? Please leave me out of it." Soojin said, lacing her arm to Shuhua's like she always does (Shuhua doesn't mind, at all), "Yuqi-ah, spare Soyeon's poor bones and bare your exhaustion or we're going to leave you here. I think we're almost there, anyway. Isn't that right, Miyeon-unnie?"

"Y-Yeah. I told you guys we should've asked Dad to fetch us." Miyeon answered. She doesn't seem as tired as the rest of us, she's obviously used walking this kind of distance.

"Nah, it's already enough that your Mom's feeding us those delicious stuff, Miyeon-ah. Walking like this is no big deal." I said, taking deep breaths, my body obviously rejecting my words.

The kids are right, I'm really getting old.
