** After my visit to Thailand, I was so tired from the travel that I mistook another room for our dorm. Luckily, I knew the girls living next door from us so I quickly made amends. Ours has its front door open. Really these kids. Tsk tsk.
Four of them were gathered in the living room, watching some variety show. Oh, they're with Miyeon? I thought she would be asleep by now.
It's honestly kinda amazing how she easily bonded with the girls despite her timid personality during the first few days. Or maybe they've bonded over the weekends while I was gone? Meh. So what?
My body's aching for my fluffy bed, I need to sleep now. It's just a bummer that Mom made me carry a travel bag full of additional clothes to add to my about-to-vomit/full-to-the-brim closet when I decided not to bring any clothes at all to my visit.
But, while I was on my way to the university grounds, I saw a familiar figure eating inside a pizza chain: Sorn-unnie, aka my Thai bff/sister. She's alone, where are her members? You see, Unnie already debuted last 2015 as a member of CLC, and a graduate of CUBE. But she prefers living in the dorm with six other girls from their group than to get an apartment. That's what I loved about her, she's humble even though her family's really rich.
"Yo, Yontararak! Come here and join me!"
Oh, she saw me as well. I have to make this quick.
"Unnie! I didn't peg you as a girl who likes eating her pizza alone? I thought at least Elkie would be with you, that girl loves to eat."
She was stationed at a stool facing the street, so I sat at her right near the wall and leaned my back on it. Oooohh.. That felt nice.
"Those girls? They're asleep. Exhausted from our whole day of practice for a new song. So I was forced to eat alone. Want some?" Right, they're having a comeback in a few weeks, must be nice to have one, or at least, to even debut.
"No thanks, Unnie. I have to get going 'cause I'm dead tired. I'm sleepy as well." I bent down, picking up the travelling bag from the floor.
"Oh, before you go. Let's order some pizza for the girls, my treat. You know, to cheer them up for another week tomorrow." Unnie stood up to order, leaving me no chance to say no. Oh to be the beautiful, talented, kind, and rich Chonnasorn Sajakul. She's the best, really.
As I entered the living room, I was grinning because of my encounter with Sorn-unnie, but it immediately vanished when I remembered the wide-open front door.
I never planned becoming the "parent figure" when I decided to live in the dorm, but I have no choice but to step up since I was the oldest in the group, well, before Miyeon joined, of course.
"Hey, you guys! You left the front door open! What if some burglar enters the dorm while you guys are sleeping?" I tried really hard to sound intimidating, which is hard considering they don't see me as threatening as Soyeon.
"Sorry, Unnie. Shuhua left that open, by the way." The annoyed Shuhua throws a pillow she's holding to Yuqi.
Kids.
Be patient, Minnie.
"Tsk, tsk. Where's Soyeon?"
I handed the boxes of pizza that Sorn-unnie bought for them to Soojin, I'm not hungry because I ate at the plane.
