"You girls have great teamwork, and loyalty to each other, huh? That's good to have in a team. I'm sure you guys would do great in the future." The President smiled at us.
Thanks for the compliment, Sir. But, you're still gonna fail us, aren't you?
"I'm really sorry about this, Madam, Sir, Miss Kim. Thank you for your time, we'll get going now."
"Oh. Before you go, Miss Cho, can you stay for a minute? I just wanted to talk to you about something." The President called out to us before we walk away.
"We'll wait for you outside." I hooked an arm to Shuhua and we bowed to the elders, "Please excuse us."

Only few of the students were loitering outside the gym, so it was actually comfortable to sit at the grass-covered ground without worrying about the judging eyes of anyone.
I noticed Shuhua's unusual quietness, and her clinginess towards me or to Soojin was gone. I knew something wasn't right the moment she declined Soojin's offer to come with her at the pharmacy.
"Hey, are you tired? Hungry? What's going on?"
"No. Nothing. I'm okay. Unnie."
"Come on, Shuhua-ya. Tell me." I held her hand, "Did you have a fight with Soojin? Did someone bully you at class? Was it that narcissistic Kim Woojin? Is he still bothering you?"
"I think Soojin-unnie's having a secret affair."
If I was drinking anything right now, I'd probably spit it out, out of shock like those in the movies. But I knew my eyes widen, and my jaw dropped slightly.
"W-What made you say that?"
"Please don't tell her. I secretly opened her phone last night to take a picture. Some unregistered number messaged her." Shuhua looks more sad than guilty.
"What did the message said?"
"I couldn't read it fast enough. But, I understand an 'I Love You' near the end." Shuhua looked over to the opening of the gym where Miyeon was currently searching for us.
"Let's talk about this later, okay?" I waved at Miyeon so she could see us, "Let's keep this between us for now."
"Hey. Thanks for waiting.." Miyeon's grin never left her face. She seems excited to say something.
We started walking back to the agreed upon location, "So, how did your talk with the President went?"
"Well, here's the thing... When you guys left, he started inquiring questions about the group and about how I'm settling up. But as their break was about to finish, the President told me that they would discuss our situation to themselves."
She still seems happy.
"Just as I expected. And why are you excited about it?"
"Well, he actually hinted that they'd most likely give us a chance rather than giving us a failing score this instant." She bit her lower lip, smiling, anticipating our reactions.
Shuhua's face brightened up from her frown caused by our earlier conversation. My brows rose up instantly.
"Wait, what?? That's great news!"
"I know! I can't stop smiling after Sir whispered that to me before I left. I'm sure Soyeon-ie's still feeling guilty about this whole thing, but this would surely cheer her up." Miyeon glance at Shuhua, "What do you think, Shuhua-ya?"
"It's... A relief. Unnie. It's great." Shuhua smiled at Miyeon a little. It was nice to see them not awkward with each other anymore.
We reached the CR where Yuqi and Soojin are chatting outside. Soyeon came out soon after, explaining that the medicine Soojin bought eventually works. We could still make it back to the gym on time, but the group decided not to risk it and cause more pain to Soyeon. The rest of the girls breathed out a sigh of relief with Miyeon's news before we went to our dorm earlier than most students.
We had our dinner and everything had gone unexpectedly well than I dreaded on Monday. We watched some movies before majority of the girls decided to rest for the night.
I was left alone with Miyeon who's looking at me with a weird look in her eyes, the exact moment I glanced at her. "What?"
"Nothing." She shrugged then went to watch the movie that's currently playing.
"No, seriously, Miyeon-ah. What is it?"
"I was just thinking." She answered, not taking her eyes off the screen.
"About what?"
"About that thing we agreed upon. About what should I ask you in exchange of winning the bet." She smiled at me, a genuine one. "I'm planning on asking you for it the moment I was sure about my feelings."
I gulped. Where is this going?
"So.. Have you sort it all out? Aren't you confused anymore about that person? That girl you're crushing on?"
"No. Not yet. It's all new to me, and it's quite hard because something changed between me and that person. And because of it, it became even more confusing." She shifted so she could face me with her whole body. "I decided to wait until the end of the first semester to see how things would turn out. If my feelings would develop or not. If it does, then there, I'll ask you about a favor to help me act upon my feelings, if it didn't, then I'd think of something else."
"You know, if it helps, I think you already know how you feel. The fact that you're willing to see it until the end, you already decided what you want, you just can't say it out loud or it would materialized and make things more real because you're afraid, aren't you? Of entering a new relationship?"
Miyeon sighed heavily, "Not just entering a new relationship, Minnie-ah. I'm afraid of entering this new territory, and discovering a whole new side of my self: my sexuality."
"Don't worry. I'll stay with you through the whole process of your self-discovery. Just take it one step at a time. You don't have to rush."
Miyeon hugged me, "Thank you, Minnie. But why are you doing all of this?"
"We're friends, right? That's enough reason to care for each other."
Miyeon leaned back to gaze into my eyes and we stared at each other, "What did I ever do to deserve you?"
"Your existence would suffice." I grinned at her.
She slowly leaned in closer and kissed me...
