"Uh, ma'am what is this?" Nyla asks Selene staring at the plate in front of her while poking at it with the fork. Whatever was on her plate, looked like an undiscovered species fresh up out of the ocean.
Selene shrugs, "It's supposed to be food."
"Supposed to be? Yeah, y'all ain't finna kill me talking bout some it's supposed to be." Nyla pushes the food to the middle of the table before leaning back in her seat. While being here the only thing she's been eating is cereal.
They didn't have regular food down here besides the food that the citizens in hell eat which consists of humans, souls, and shit like that.
"I want my momma food bruh, " Nyla cries laying her head on the table only to sit back up when she hears growling and screaming.
Her eyes go big seeing a big ass dog-like animal, not only was it big but it was on fire as well while its eyes were a glowing fiery orange color.
"I don't know what the hell that is but it ain't getting me, " she says running to hide in the bottom cabinets. Selene laughs at her mate before getting up and grabbing the wild beast by the big chain that hangs around its neck.
"Chill out, " she voices pulling one of her many hell hounds to where she was sitting before.
"And Dani what did you do to him for him to come after your stupid ass, " Selene asks already knowing that Dani had to do something to him for him to act like that towards her.
"I ain't do anything..."
Selene glares at her, "Lie again and I'm gone let his ass bite you."
"Haha no need for all that but I may have said some things to make him mad, " Dani explains taking a seat at the table.
Selene only shakes her head. "Nyla come and sit at the table."
She opens the cabinet to take a quick peek only to locks eyes with Seth, the hell hound. Nyla quickly closes it. "I'll be a motherfucking dummy if I came out from under here!" she shouts.
"Who is that?"
"My mate, " she says running her fingers through Seth's fur.
"She human?" Selene nods already knowing what she was about to say.
"No wonder it stinks, your ass ain't turned her yet."
Nyla peeks out once again looking at Dani, "Who? Who stinks? Cause it sholl ain't me, maybe you need to check that upper lip of yours, baby girl." she snaps.
"Fuck she thought this was, this ass of mine gets washed every day, faithfully. I bet her ass can't say that tho," she whispers going back into her hiding place thinking they didn't hear that last part.
"Oh, so you think that's funny?" Dani asks, mugging a cackling Selene who nods her head wiping away the tears.
"Your ugly ass finally met your match."
Before Dani could say something, someone else does.
"What's so funny and Dani why are you always at my house?" Than questions opening the refrigerator.
"The same reason why your voice deep as fuck, " Dani shrugs. "Plus y'all house better than mine so like why not be over here."
Than shakes his head taking some meat out so he could cook it later.
"Anyways where my baby momma at?"
"Out working, something y'all need to go do," Than says taking a seat.
"I am working, dealing with my mate crybaby ass is a whole job," Selene says knowing that Nyla was about to come from out of her spot and go off on her.
"Where she—"
Before he could even finish Nyla pops out from her hiding area. "Call me a crybaby and say I'm a whole ass job again, watch how quick I rock your motherfucking world."
Selene smirks, "It's fine because I'm gone rock yours tonight." she says using their mind link for the first time. After being around each other for a while, their bond has gotten a bit stronger to where they can communicate like that.
Nyla stands there confused not knowing where the voice came from. "Yeah, I'm going fucking crazy."
"Not only are you going crazy but you stink as well, " Dani says covering her nose.
Nyla nods calmly picking up the closest thing to her, a knife, before throwing it at her. The knife landing right in Dani's shoulder making her hiss meanwhile Seth ran towards the knife thinking Nyla wanted to play.
"Say I stink aga—"
She's stopped by Seth pulling the knife out of Dani's shoulder before running towards Nyla at full speed making her turn around and run out of the kitchen.
