April 16th 2556,
"Alex! Wake up! I need your help!"
That voice... It can't be...
"Ugh! Fine Mom!" I yelled from my bedroom.
What's going on?! This happened... oh no.
"What's wrong what do you need help with?" I eagerly asked my Mom.
"It's not me it's your crazy Uncle! He is working on that piece of junk he calls a ship!"
Uncle Charlie always used me to help with his ship that he named the "Doomsday" which was a weird name for a ship.
I walked to the barn where my Uncle worked on "Doomsday"
I walk in to see my uncle working on the ship.
"Hey uncle!" I yelled to him.
"Alex! Good I need you to help me load the quarnex battery into the flux modifier, once we do that this ship will be ready to fly!"
I helped load in the battery for my uncle.
BOOM!
"What the hell?! Was that the ship!"
No... It's much worse.
I looked up to the sky to see a large amount of covenant ships entering the atmosphere.
"Quick! Will the ship work?!" I asked my uncle.
"I don't know it might be able to get us out of the solar system. but I don't know!" He said very frightened.
I ran back to the house to warn my family.
"Mom! Dad! We have to leave NOW!"
No response.
"Mom?" I asked the air.
I walked to my living room, and saw my parents laying dead on the ground, and a elite with a energy sword in his hand.
"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" I jumped on top of him and started punched his head.
He threw me off of his back and started walking towards me with his sword, I quickly ran to my dad's closet (he hid all his guns there)and got out a pistol, I shot the beast 5 times and he finally went down!
"Mom... Dad...." I cried as I ran back to the barn to meet up with my uncle.
"Is it ready to fly?!" I asked.
"Yes! We have to go, now!" Yelled my uncle.
We got in the ship and started flying off into space.
I looked back and saw my planet get destroyed by all the covenant battle cruisers.
That was the reason I joined the UNSC.
But why am I remembering this now?
I woke up to see a big forerunner looking creature staring at me.
"Well. That was truely fascinating Alex!" Said the creature.
"You will make a good specimen, like your friends"
