Chapter 3: Just in Time

        You were panting as you struggled to keep it in. Keep it under control. You converted your eyes even with the glasses that Gojo gave you. They burned, just form trying to shove it back in. You didn't even stop the pole arm coming at you. It shattered a crossed the spirit like scales across your body. You dropped to your knees as you panted. Stopping your curse as best you could as you did so. "Run...."
      "Hey what's going on?!" No... it was the red haired boy. Didn't he have a special condition? He started coming over with the first years.
      "Run damn it." You slammed a hand into the ground it crumbled under your hand the earth itself buckling. As it waved like an earth quake.
The others eyes all widened. Your eyes snapping up at the strange boy. Yuji Itadori uttered the word switch. Just as the rest of your dragon form showed itself. The tail wrapping out of the body as the horns mushed from your skull. Immediately your zone opened on the world. All of time standing still for humans. The children all mid run as your eyes snapped to Itadori. He was moving in your zone. A realm of cherry blossoms blooming around the golden sands at your feet.
"Ahhh how did you get this kind of ability with out any control." You growled at the tattoos spreading across his skin. "I don't have very long. Shall I kill you so I don't have to deal with you later?"
You opened your mouth and a flame of blue powder burst forth. He vanished and reappeared behind you. Or so he though, but in this sanctuary you were master, at least your subconscious was. Time reversed on him until he was hit with the edges of the flames. His hand disintegrating as it touched. You forced your mouth shut. Growling and clawing at your own head. "No!!! I can't hurt... them...." the flames danced around the frozen humans looking like they would attack them too.
"That hurt..." his hand regenerating though at a rate that made him frown. "Why this is a problem isn't it. Time to die."
You felt it, he was trying to force his own zone open in yours. The dragon you wears eyes flashed as it longed forward. The slice across your chest from what ever had Itadori under control. Didn't even phase you. It landed shallow. At first before pushing inwards. By the time you you started to bleed you hand your clawed hands over his heart ready to rip it out. When something broke your zone. Dropping in from the sky.
"I'm back. I told them not to push you and they listen so well." Gojo landed taking your hand and sending you flying. As you tried to shatter the dragon phase and calm down. But the beast snarled and snapped. Even as the world came crumbling down in golden sand. However everyone remained frozen even Itadori as his tattoos faded.
Your tail lashing as your eyes looked to Gojo and snapped your teeth. Clawing into the ground only cracked it into large slices. Deep enough to hide a mountain of bodies. Still you recognized him and reached up tugging at the horn on your head. It had solidified. It had been so long you had sawed them off even though it left you feeling sick it was better then the dragon jumping out of you. Tears welling in your eyes. Still blissfully unaware of the blood down your front.
"Oh so Sukuna found it appropriate to come out and say hi." Gojo was  far away one moment then before you the next. "This was what you wear hiding? Pretty. Seems deadly." He was gripping your chin yet not gripping your chin. It was like the area around his hand had a hold of you. "I'm going to need you to go to sleep now. So we can fix this mess, or turn it off."
The blue sands curled out your teeth as you growled though the fear was clear on your face. Your hand shaking it wanted to swing. Your other hand you hand clawed into your leg. Cause it's own set of punctures in your body.
Gojo fround. "Self arm to hinder? I don't like that. We need to teach you control. Ah! Hold on a moment." He pulled off his blindfold to show you beautiful blue eyes. You blinked in suprised then all at once relaxed as he covered yours with it. All at once your body went slack as your dragon inside curled back in leaving it's horns behind as you collapsed forward. All time starting again. "Whoo there... I've got you."
You panted as you shook. The others starting to speak as they yelled and then paused in their run. Turning around and looking wide eyed at the distraction of property. "I..."
"No Maki.... just no. I warned you. If she hadn't stopped herself you would all be dead." Gojo sounding stern for once.
"That was.... insain... what happened?" Was that Fushiguro? You blinked behind the blindfold as your eyes leaked down.
"I'm sorry I... wasn't ready." You said softly as you clung to him. "Can you... get the stuff on this list for me? So I can make dinner?" You puffed out a breath as you pressed your forhead into his shoulder.
Gojo tensed as you held up the little paper from your pocket. Before he started to laugh so hard his body shook. "You heard her. Go get the stuff on the list. Zenin and Itadori it's your fault she's like this."
"What? What did I do?" Itadori said as he came up the way he bounced you could tell he was feeling bubbly. "Right oh!!!! This sounds so good."
"As you wish. I apologize to you."Zenin said as she walked over quit a bit more silent.
"It's alright. Just... be careful.. if you want to spar tell me first." You said softly as you smiled a little.
"You heard her! Just don't expect that dinner tonight." Gojo said as he started to walk with you.
"Hey I can still cook." You said stubbornly as you went to pinch him but your hand wouldn't even lift.
"No you can't. It's fine we can handle it." Gojo said as he then shifted you to carry you like a sack of potatoes over his shoulder. "Besides you can't feel your wounds yet because of the adrenaline."
"I am telling you I'm fine! Put me down." You thumped once on his back before you just hung on him and started to breath softly.
"Mmmhmm, your just fine alright." Gojo walked with you to the healers saying. "Honey I'm home!" As he opened the door and flopped you down on the bed. No one was there and with you sound asleep he sighed. Starting to take care of you. "No dieing until I get some more mochi that you make. Wonder if you will put a different flavor to it." You could hear him saw as you breathed softly.
