[A Cozy Night]

Ang lamig ng panahon ngayon lalo na at malapit lang sa dagat ang venue kaya presko pa rin ang hangin at ang amoy ng dagat ay nakapagbigay ng nostalgic na feeling sa aking sarili.

Looking at how happy Nicole was and how Dexter was pretty relaxed with it, I'm happy for both of them. Kung baka sakali na nagkamabutihan na sila.

Ven and I are sitting at the corner of the large circle table. Si Dexter ay nakikipag usap sa mga groupo ng lalaki sa kabilang table. Nicole then was in the comfort room.

"Hey girls!" It was Michelle at kasama niya si Calix na nakahawak sa may bewang nito. Ven was not used to talking with different people na di niya ganoon ka close kaya I let her be.

I talked to Michelle for awhile at ng matapos ay bumalik na ako sa pwesto namin ni Ven at saka na dumating si Nicole. Tinitingnan ko ang mga taong bago lang dumating and as I scanned my eyes in the crowds to look for him. Is he late? Di kaya siya dadating? May partner ba siya? Sino kaya kasama niya?

Kami nga ni Ven walang partner, siguro we both didn't like the idea of it but as for Nicole I guess things together with Dex went well knowing na magkasama sila papunta dito kanina.

Di ko siya mahanap sa dami ng tao. Ven just drink the glass of water dahil nga nauuhaw na siya. Nicole was busy taking photo.
"Si Michelle ba 'yon?" tanong ni Nicole sa amin.

"Yes besh kasama niya si Calix." Sagot naman ni Ven.

"Ganoon bah, I hope things are serious with them." Nicole replied.

I was at the same time shocked with both of them. Michelle is called the 'it girl' in the campus. It also make up a huge twist since Calix confess to Nicole then after a week he then date Michelle. Well, Nicole may rejected Calix atleast it was a nice move. I look at Nicole and she seemed fine and not bothered by it.

"Lot! I need to talk to you for a sec." Biglang sabi ni Dex as he approached us.

"Ako?" Sabi ko na parang naguguluhan rin.

I glanced at Nicole and she then looked down at the table, avoiding my eye. Ven can sensce something is up kaya she said
"Ibalik mo agad siya Dex ha!" Ven sligthly joked.

Tiningnan ko sila saglit bago tumayo. Pumunta kami sa second floor sa may balcony as Dex lead the way. Di ko rin alam kung ano ang pag-uusapan namin.

"Charlotte, gusto ko lang sabihin sa 'yo na you are someone that is special to me...Well I ahmm—" Iyon ang panimulang sabi ni Dex sa akin ng makarating kami sa balcony. It was a quiet at tanging tunog lang ng background music sa baba ang marinig. Dahil sa sinabi ni Dex mas lalo tuloy ako naguguluhan at parang di ko rin komportable sa sitwasyon namin at nakakapanibago rin.

I know Dex is a good friend of mine and I like him for his personality and being sporty pero at that time mas iniisip ko si Milo. Things are different with Milo and what I felt for him is something to me na siya lang ang nakaapekto nito sa akin. Everytime I got close to Milo my heart would beat for him and I always look for his presence.

"Uhm— Dex anong ibig mong sabihin?"
I don't want to beat around the bush nor assume things and be straightforward at him cause he confused me sometimes. I don't want also to make Dex feel bad about it.

I was just looking at the surroundings dahil sa ganda ng dagat kapag gabi at sa mga maliliwanag na ilaw sa mga kabahayan saka tumitingin din ako sa baba.

As I looked down sa labas ng venue ay nakita ko agad si Ven na lumabas at sinalubong si Milo. Ano? Nang dahil sa nasaksihan ko ay para bang nag iba ang mood ko at parang nawasak ang aking puso. Witnessing the same scene again ache my heart. I was confused at the same time I felt wasted di ko masabi seeing a friend you care and the guy you liked.
