Chapter 4-The first of many

"H-Harry it's time to get up,"

Someone started shaking me awake.

"I'm up, I'm up!" I groaned.

I opened my eyes slowly to adjust to the light. There standing over me was Draco.

"What a lovely view to wake up to," I said.

He blushed and hit me softly. He turned away from me to show he wasn't amused.

I got up out of bed and took a quick shower. I messily threw on my clothes and tried (and failed) to tame my hair.

I walked out of the bathroom and Draco looked at me with disgust.

"This simply won't do," he said coming over to me.

He helped me put my tie on the right way and tamed my hair. No one had ever done that before.

We walked side by side to breakfast.

"Hey Draco~" cooed a girl beside us.

He ignored her like it was nothing.

"Drakie don't ignore me! You know we are betrothed!" She whined.

Betrothed. They are betrothed. My Draco, was betrothed.

This can't be happening. I can't let my Draco be taken away by someone such as her.

"Bethany Charles,"

I looked beside me and there stood Darcy.

"That's her name?" I asked.

"Yes, she came over to our house a lot over the summer," Darcy explained.

We both shared a look asking the same question. How are we going to kill her.

"Setting a trap," she threw out.

"Get her all alone in a room," I suggest.

We both looked at each other again both thinking of the perfect way.

"Poison," we said in unison.

Draco and Bethany where a few feet in front of us so she got to sit by Draco.

I simply couldn't sit by and watch her annoy my Draco, so I took it upon myself to fix that.

"Excuse me but I sit here," I said calmly.

"Well I got here first!" She said in her annoying high pitch voice.

I put a firm hand on her shoulder and pulled her backwards off the seat.

She fell to the floor with a loud thud.

"Oh my! You fell!" I said pretending to be shocked.

Most people were looking at us now so I offered a hand to help her up. She didn't take it instead she got up on her own and started yelling.

While she was distracted with yelling I sat in the spot that she had been sitting in. The people around me started laughing at her.

She must not be very popular because no one seemed to be defending her. I shrugged and started eating.

She eventually gave up and stomped away from us. She made sure to sit as far as possible from us.

She was glaring daggers into me. What she didn't know was that Darcy and I had this all planned out and I had just given the signal to Darcy to poison her drink.

She stopped glaring and took a nice long drink. She dropped the glass and collapsed.

Next it was time for acting skills. I acted shocked, sad, and scared. I looked at our drinks skeptically just to add.

A teacher picked up Bethany's dead body and carried it out.

No one touched their drink in fear that it was poisoned too. I gave Darcy I thumbs up. She nodded back to me.

The headmaster came to the front of the room after a bit to make a speech

"Everyone, we are sad to say that the student did not make it. For your safety we ask you all not to touch your drinks and head back to your rooms, all classes are canceled,"

I noticed some of the Gryffindor boys daring others to drink their drinks. Most of them didn't but one did. He pretended to fall over. Then he got back up laughing.

I rolled my eyes. How immature.

We were all shooed out of the great hall and back to our dorms.

"That was crazy," I said when Draco and I got back in our room.

"Who do you think it was?" He asked.

"Not sure," I answered simply.

"But don't worry I'll protect you," I told him.

He blushed.

"Thanks," he mumbled.

I will do anything it takes to be with him. Bethany was the first of many people I will kill.

I won't stop until he is mine
