"What the –" I huffed in exasperation.

"Don't bother yourself with him. You're under my protection. He'll do nothing" Artemis said.

"That god is definitely a Looney." I scoffed.

She burst out laughing. I stared at her surprised Artemis could laugh at me calling her uncle a Looney. Well, I guess nearly everyone despised Poseidon. Finally she stopped laughing.

"Let's go to my room then, while we await Aphrodite's return."

Artemis took me to her closet, and she made room for my stuffs while I'd stayed. As she opened a section of the closet, I couldn't help but stare wide eyed at it, there was a part of it stocked up with designer shoes. And another part of it with clothes and bags from famous brands.

She just smiled when she saw my expression. As she opened another section to move some of her things, I spotted a beautiful gold bow.

"Woah, it's beautiful."

"Apollo has something similar too. It's my favorite weapon." She said with a smile.

"Can I touch it?" I asked.

"Yes. You can."

I took it up, examining the intricate designs and patterns. It was pure gold. Must have cost a fortune. I couldn't stop admiring it, as I was lost in the thoughts of how beautiful the bow was, Artemis spoke,

"Am I sensing an enthusiasm for Archery?" She said with amusement In her voice.

"Huh?" I asked confused.

" The way you look at it, other than the twinkle of curiosity, I sense something else. Would you like to learn? You'd make a wonderful Archer."

"Really?! I could learn? You'd teach me?" I asked, excited.

"I could, if you want. Though, Apollo is a better Archer." She said with a smile.

"Oh! I'd love to learn from you both." I exclaimed.

Our words were cut short with a knock on the door. Then the door swung open, and Aphrodite walked in.

"Hey! Hayley! Please, could you come help me with some of these things?" She said, struggling to put the bags in.

" Oh, sure." I said, dropping the bow and rushing over to her side.

After we'd placed everything in the right position, she spoke,

"I've been told you'd be staying with Artemis for now. Quite sad though, I would have loved it if you stayed with me" she said with a pout.

"I got everything you asked for. But, if I'm missing something, just let me know. I would be in my room." She said before walking out.

I went over to the stuffs she bought, I sat down beside them on the floor and O.M.G I couldn't help but stare wide-eyed and mouth opened. From the clothes, to the phone, and to the chocolates. This must cost a fortune!

"I hope you like them?" Artemis asked.

"Yes! I do." The words 'like' were not enough to express what I felt for the items.

I mean, I'd turned into a princess living in a palace over night. I'd gone from pumpkin to princess. Who knew my life would eventually turn out well. But, lest I forget, I had to call Zara first. I knew she would be worried sick by now.

As I brought out the phone from the parcel, the door swung open and the most beautiful guy I'd ever seen walked in. He was lean, a little bit broad shouldered, had shoulder length white hair with little red streaks, and those plush pink lips were something else, his eyes held mysteries untold.

I could get lost in those beautiful emerald eyes, his skin was silky pale beige, and the beautiful curves of his lips when he smiled as he walked in was mind blowing. He wore a transparent silk robe, which looked extra large, and a black skinny jeans.

I could see his evenly toned muscles ripple through the fabric, and those rock hard abs was mouth watering, how could a man be this perfect! He was adorable. Irresistibly perfect! He walked towards me, knelt down beside me, flicked my hair to the side, and snapped his fingers.

"What the fuck just happened?" It was like I was bewitched, and the spell had just worn off. Not that he still wasn't perfect, but there was this sudden irresistible urge I felt towards him, but, it vanished suddenly.

He chuckled and stood up from where  he'd knelt, and walked towards Artemis, she smiled and he spoke,

"It's the irresistible desires darling. No mortal could resist my charms." Then he proceeded to hugging Artemis.

Artemis hummed, " when did you get here?"

"Not too long ago" he replied, breaking away from the hug.

"Does Zeus know you're here?"

He folded his arms at his chest," I can't say. He may or may not have seen me. But I'm sure Hera must have. Her handmaiden was at the door when I came."

"What brings you here this time?" Artemis asked.

" Well, one reason is to see my mother, and the other, I guess this is home to gods, and the last I checked, I haven't gotten on Zeus's bad side. I acknowledge I'm his least favorite person but, I'm still allowed safe passage into here. And my services are also quite needed." He said winking.

While they spoke, I just stared at them confused. I wondered what he was a god of? and more importantly who was his mother?

Artemis laughed, "Eros, I don't think anyone needs your services around here."

"As my mother is important, so am I."

"Eros? The god of sex?!" I blurted out, jumping up from where I'd seated.

"Who is she? And I'm not 'the god of sex' like you say it." Then his voice changed seductively, " it's Eros, god of love, and sexual desires"

O.M.G! His change in tone sent shivers down my spine. And goosebumps covered my skin. If I wasn't a girl prone to so much control, that look in his eyes when he spoke, and the seduction in his voice was enough to make heat pool at my core. Wait! god of love! Mother!

"Aphrodite is your mother?!"
