I was at the mall with my girls , they are literally forcing me to go out tonight .. and though they been planned on going out an they are just now telling me , they are right I do need to go out . I already took Christian to my grandma house so im allgood for now .
We left the mall and I got a cute enough outfit and we all went back to Sage's apartment to get ready , "Nali , there are gonna be cute guys out tonight ... you tryna get back in the game ?" Aaliyah said
I just looked at her as if she were dumb, "girl no , i have a boyfriend" I said
"yeah but it's been how long now ? i think it's time you have some fun" she said
"she's right" Sage said
"i know she's right , that's why im gonna go have fun with my girls" I said
"okay" Lala said sighing
I just shrugged it off and we finished getting dressed

We made it to the party and it was packed and the sound of laughter and music filled my ears
Everyone was having a really good time , "im gonna go get us some drinks" Sage & Lala said walking off
"okay , im gonna go to the bathroom ... i forgot to pee before i left" Aaliyah said speed walking away

I then felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around
"Darren ?" I said a bit shocked
"in the flesh" he said smiling with his pearly white teeth ... damn did he get even more fine ?

"i've been chillin , yo mad bad for how I walked out on you , shit was lame you deserved way better than that" He said
"it's okay, i understand everything now ... yall from two different hoods" I said
"exactly, but that don't mean for me to let something so good go" he said grabbing my hand

"it's iight , i hope you still have my number saved, let me take you out again ... i know shit been a bit stressful for you" he said
"yes , I still have your number" i said
"well let me start putting yours to use, im glad I got to see you" he said hugging me before walking off
"GIRLLLLL WAS THAT-" Sage and Lala started
"yes that was Darren , he invited me out ..." i said
"girl you got to go , have some fucking fun" Sage said
"okayyyy but just as friends" I said
"yessss girlllll" Lala said
"Hey Lala" This girl said walking up to us
"oh hey Rue, what you doing here ?" she said
"well nothing really, here with some friends .. idk where they went though then I saw you so I decided to say hey" the girl said
"oh okay, want to get a drink ?" Lala said
"yea i'd love too" Rue said , and they walked off
"who tf is that ?" Sage said a bit aggressively
"well Rue if you weren't listening" I said laughing
"not funny, since when Lala had ... friends" she said
