I easily hid my happiness with shock then faked a sad face

"Oh" I say then took ahold of my mother's hand "It's gonna be ok"

'Yeah now the mf out' I thought with a little grin going unnoticed by my sobbing mother

My mother soon calmed down and we started to talk about other things, I said a very stupid joke and she had her beautiful smile on again

It was getting dark and mother had told me there would be a funeral in two weeks and said I could bring a friend

I mentally scoffed at that, I don't have any friends I have acquaintances not friends just people who just kiss my ass

My phone buzzed and see that it was my brother, I sighed and answered the call

"What" I say coldly

"Awww come on, don't be like that lil bro don't be like that!"

I rolled my eyes at his voice that haunt's me like a god damen ghost coming for revenge

"I'm on my way" I bluntly say then hung up not letting him have a single peep. I walked to the child like restaurant and sat in a booth of two

A few minutes later I hear the bell of the door, I look up to see a woman with long black hair and golden eyes she looked around my brother's age

But I then saw the same girl from this morning, she had her hair up in a bun and had a bored face on, the two sit two booths away, at that moment a voice all to familiar crushed my ears

"Aki!" I turned to see a man with black hair and green eyes, looking like a biker

I sighed and looked away
"Hello Shin"
Shin takes a seat in front of me, I can see his grin that has trouble all over it

"You can fool Mom but you can't fool me, your practically beaming with joy right now" my brother says as he leaned closer to me
"Your happy our old man is dead ain't ya"
I froze and looked at him in shock

Soon my shocked face was replaced by a sinister and dark twisted smirk
My brother lean's back in satisfaction
"so is that all, why did you wanna meet here instead of Uncle's place?" I asked glancing at the two girls once again and see that the elder one is eating happily and the girl I meet earlier was just drinking out of her large apple juice box

"Just wanted to do a celebration for the old timer, I mean ya know why not?" He says, I scoffed and gave him a chilling glare
"He favored you more then me since my quirk didn't look or sound heroic enough" I say looking at my brother's sharp golden eyes as he looked at my blue ones that seems to darken

I sighed and we continued chatting about the funeral asking if I was going to bring anyone of course I said no

I glanced to see the two girls standing up to leave but when the girl I meet earlier walked out I saw that there was an envelope on the chair she sat in
"Excuse me brother I'll be back"

I go and pick up the envelope and see it's a paycheck 'Is she working, she's so young tho' I thought to myself as I quickly walked out of the fast food restaurant and look side to side but did not see the girl anywhere

I had no choice but to use my quirk

I look down at the envelope and take a quick sniff of her sent. She smelt like gunpowder and gasoline but it was oddly soothing it was like I could get high on the smell 'Uhg great you sound like a creep, no wonder I still have no friends' I thought to myself as I ran to the direction she was at

I soon see her and call out for her, but she just kept waking, so I speed up and I was about 7 feet away from her and she turns and our eyes meet it was like time had stopped and nothing else in the world existed
