A lot has changed in the last few months Ruby is still her happy self but now having Elijah makes her feel like she on top of the world I'm just glad that my daughter can feel that the father daughter bond but I'm not saying everything has been easy Elijah and I have got some what closer which started a few months back

Flashback

It was a quiet and normal night in Los Angeles Ruby had gone out with Hudson so it was just me and Elijah

I watched him looking nervously he kept checking his phone in the time I started to laugh at him "Ruby is fine she will be back before midnight that is her curfew you need to stop" I smiled at him

He looked at me "what do you mean I'm fine everything is good "

"It's hard isn't it to let go of her. To see her spread her wings and fly even if she's just gone out with her boyfriend it's difficult but it gets easier"I told him

"I know that you're right,I'm just scared I've just got used to having her now,I'm afraid that she's going to leave which is stupid because she'll always be my daughter but I just don't want anything to happen to her I love her more than anything and I'm not used to being so afraid"he said

"That Feeling never really leaves from the second I felt her kick I was terrified that something would happen to her.I was living with Lucifer at the time, his house was not baby proof so I felt like I could never let her go. it took Lucifer babysitting for her to start crawling,that's when I knew that I needed to just trust my child which was the hard thing to do."I said trying to give him peace of mind

He smiled at me and I knew that he understood what I was meaning I didn't want Elijah to feel uncomfortable in my presence I wanted him to know that I will always be there to help him with Ruby. so I started having a casual chat about life and everything in between ,I just felt comfortable we were very happy in each other's company he smiled at me" why are you smiling at me like that " I asked him

"Because I forgot how beautiful your eyes were " he said to me

I was shocked but I smiled gently at him " Elijah "he moved closer to me next thing I  know we are kissing

I was completely shocked that he kissed me but I couldn't stop it was like feeling something that was missing in my life so i continued by smacking my lips on to his Elijah was surprised that I kiss back but didn't stop the kiss he pulled me in deeper while wrapped my arms around his neck making it easier for him to run his hands all over my body which resulted in him picking me up

I ripped his shirt kiss up and down his chest while more down to open is belt when Elijah flips me down flat on to my back so he could kiss up and down my Jaw, neck move to my chest causing me to moan as he takes off her shirt

I look straight into his eyes I can't believe that it's been 19 years without his arms but it feels just like yesterday " I miss you so much "I said has he kissed my neck

He moved his lips to my ear" I missed you too beautiful "

Flashback over

As I sat there thinking about what happened I didn't hear someone behind me "mum are you okay"Ruby asked

I looked after her "yeah I'm fine baby I was just thinking about something I love you you know that right "

She smiles at me "I love you too mum "she said to me as she walked out the room

I have no idea what the future holds for me and Elijah but I know that I will not let it affect Ruby
