Allah says: Verily, He is One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful. In numerous verses of the Quran, Allah describes Himself as being extremely generous, merciful, and forgiving towards His creations. ... Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
"Ask for forgiveness every night because when you close your eyes, your soul departs your body. But it's return is never guaranteed. Every single night your soul is taken and every night the angel asks before bringing it back "ya Allah what about this one? Do you want to sent it back? "Do you want to pull the plug or should we keep the ruh (soul)? And every night Allah gives permission to the angel to let you live one more time. Will you then not mend your ways?"
