It's been one month since nalaman kong buntis ako. And I have schedule today for my check up.
Mom wants to got be she have flight while dad have an appointment, Lucas volunteered to go with me.
I thought even I'm pregnant he will drive a motor, big bike to be exact.
Lucas is driving while I am silently looking at outside.
"Kapag tinanong ka kung sino ang tatay, sabihin mo ako" Lucas joked while driving
"Huh! Sira ka." tawang sambit ko
"Hahaha just kidding. Second father lang ako" he said
"Yeah, I know you, Acxel, Iyah and Lienel will love my baby naman" I said
"Ofcourse. First pamangkin namin. Well basta ninong ako ha"
"Yeah, ninong ka. Katagal tagal pa e"
"Alam ko naman. But how about your entrance exam in UST?" he changed the topic
"About that, I already received an email naman from them and I got passed. I choose online class"
"Why? Are you afraid to let other know that you're pregnant?" nag aalalang tanong niya
"Not that, but things will be complicated kung papasok ako na malaki ang tiyan ko" sagot ko na lang
Sa totoo lang ay hindi ko pa alam ang mang yayari kapag maraming tao na ang naka alam na nabuntis ako ng maaga. Pero hindi ko sinasabing itatago ko ang magiging anak ko para lang sa image ko sa ibang tao.
"You're not going to hide the baby from other people naman. Right?"
"Ofcourse not. Why would I do that?"
"Nothing. Napapanuod ko kasi sa iba yung mga kilalang pamilya hindi ipinapaalam sa iba na nganak ang bata pa sa pamilya nila. You know?"
"Hahaha you watched those things huh" asar ko
"Why?" parang nahihiyang tanong niya
"Nothing. Well, I'm not going to hide my baby noh" sagot ko
Tumigil naman kami sa harap ng hospital at nag park siya bago kami bumaba.
Sabay kaming nag lakad papasok sa hospital at dumeretso sa aking doctor. By the way, her name is Doctora Callejo.
"Hi Atasha, how are you?" she greeted
"Hi doc, feel good po" I answered
"I see, are you alone?" she asked dahil si Lucas ay papasok pa lang ng room ni Doc.
"No, may kasama po ako" sagot ko kasabay ng pag dating ni Lucas sa likuran ko
"Oh? Is he the daddy?"
"Yes" sagot nitong si Lucas
"No, doctora"
"Hahaha just kidding. Hindi po ako ang tatay. Pinsan lang" Lucas said
"Ah ganun ba. Let me check you na Atasha" sambit niya at naupo naman ako sa kama.
She started to check me while Lucas is busy on his phone kaya naman hindi ko na siya kinausap at hinayaan ko na si Doctora Callejo sa ginagawa niya.
Saglit lang naman iyon at natapos din.
"I will give you a schedule na lang for next month" sambit pa niya
"Thank you po, doc" sagot ko before Lucas and I leave.
"May pupuntahan ka ba?" tanong ko kay Lucas habang nag lalakad kami
