Why does life always,
Have to hurts so bad,
Why do I always remain down,
Why must I feel so sad
Your words defeat me
And you mistreat me
I know your gonna swallow your words,
Raise your hand and beat me
Dont worry I won't fight back
I'll take my beating with pride
Just know with every stroke of your hand
My love for you has died
I have nobody to talk to,
In no one to confide,
So I retreat within myself
I find a hollow and hide,
My flesh is just a shell,
To the person I used to be,
You should have slowed to look,
And taken the time to see
I would have given anything,
Not to mention all of me,
I Loved you more than life,
Though you were to blind to see
I've got bruises,
Bumps, and broken ribs,
I pray to God,
I ask what gives
You've said that your sorry,
That it won't happen again,
But I just know it will,
you've maken it a trend
Your just not the same person,
With in whom I'd fallen in love,
So I must take this opportunity,
To finally rise above
You want another chance?,
Well you've had three,
And each of them led,
To you putting your hands on me
I'm over it im done,
Were finished I need to be set free,
So go on with your life,
Just let me be
Some wrongs can't be righted,
They can't be set straight,
I wish you luck in your next relationship,
But for this one its too late
Though it will be hard on me,
And ill often be left wishin',
This girl can't take nomore,
I've been beaten into submission
