    "Brittany turn that alarm off and get ready for school!" My mom says. Ugghhh I hate this already. I smash my alarm off to quiet it's shrieking and sigh as I get out of my warm comforter. I head over to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I quickly get dressed and see that I have some extra time so I open my window and begin to climb on the roof. After I get comfy on the roof I turn around because I feel someone staring at me.

I look around and see Casey West. She's the school's bad girl and somewhat player. She makes out with almost every girl but only had sex with one. How do I know? Well words travel fast at school and because I opened my curtains and saw two naked girls but quickly closed them. Embarrassing right? She looks me up and down and I immediately roll my eyes. Yes I swing that way but I'm never doing so much as hugging Casey. I've seen way too many girls cry over her and I wasn't about to be one of them.

"Brittany Summers if you don't get down from that roof your going to be late to school!" My mom shouts. I roll my eyes again and hop on my somewhat balcony and climb back in my window. I turn around and see Casey wink at me. I roll my eyes once again and close my window and curtains and head off to school. Since my school is literally down the street so I walk everyday.

When I get to school I see my best friend Skylar. We are totally polar opposites so whenever we tell other people we are best friends they are always shocked. She's loud, outgoing, a total baddie, and super pretty while I'm the complete opposite. Skylar and I walk to AP Chem and take out all of our things for class. I let out a somewhat loud sigh then I feel a tug on my hair. I turn to Skylar and tell her to knock it off but then it happens again. Skylar is on her phone so there is no way she tugged on my hair because she never looks up from that thing. I turn around and see Casey smirking. The surprising thing is she is the most popular person here and I didn't even notice she was in this class.

"Would you stop it's very annoying." I say as I'm rolling my eyes. Her smirk falls and I turn back around to the teacher and see Skylar give Casey a quick touch-her-again-and-see-what-happens look. This is why I love her she sticks up for me when she knows I can't do it myself. After what seemed like an eternity AP Chem ends and I wait for Skylar to be done getting her things together and flirting with a guy. She finally comes out and I give her a who's-that look. "Oh that's Connor I actually have a huge crush on him but I don't think he feels the same." I push her shoulder and say "Sky if he doesn't feel the same then he's missing out on something wonderful." She gives me a hopeful smile and we head to our next class.

School is finally over and I can't wait to get home. I put on some headphones and start to walk home. I eventually zone out into my own little world listening to "Hey There Delilah" until I feel a hand on my shoulder. I quickly grab the hand and twist it like my mother taught me when I was younger and a kidnapper was on the loose. I hear a loud scream and I take out my headphones. I see Casey and my eyes widen. "Omg I'm sorry I thought you were trying to kidnap me." She laughs while rubbing on her wrist and says "It's ok at least I know never to do that again." I shrug and keep walking. I'm only four houses down from mine and I see Casey from the corner of my eye. I take out my headphone and say "Did you need something because I'm almost home and I have a lot of things to do." She shakes her head no so I put my headphone back in and drift off into my own little world again. I reach my front door and see that Casey is still behind me. I completely turn off my music and turn around a little annoyed. "Uhhh did you really have to walk me all the way to my door." She opens her mouth to say something but closes it and walks to her porch.
