🍕Seven🍕

Casey is rubbing her fingers on the back of my hand when I wake up. I smell bacon and pancakes in the air. I sit up and look around to find Casey already up and on her phone. I smack her and say "Why didn't you wake me when you smelt breakfast!" She just laughs and says "But you looked so peaceful see." She holds up her phone that has a picture of me sleeping and it's hard to fight back a smile. "But still food is wayyy more important." I get up to go brush my teeth so I could eat breakfast. Casey pulls me back down by my waist and whispers in my ear "Or we can stay in bed and watch movies while cuddling and maybe more." I laugh and whisper back "If your tryna seduce me then talk to me after I've eaten my breakfast." She sighs and releases her hold and I walk to my bathroom and run downstairs. "Casey hurry up before your food will be gone too!" I shout while digging in to my breakfast.

My mom gives me a kiss on the cheek and says her goodbyes before she heads to work. I grab blankets and pillows with some snacks and drinks. "Come on Casey we are gonna build a blanket fort and watch Netflix and most importantly eat food!" She looks at me in disbelief. "Casey I'm dead serious are you in or out?" I say slightly annoyed because she really thought I was playing. "Ok then Summers I'm in all the way." She answers. I smile and we get to work. After about thirty minutes of trial and error we finally got it perfect. I race upstairs to grab my laptop and fairy lights to set a vibe. When I come back Casey is already snuggled up in some blankets eating some chips. "Casey we can't stay up too long we have school tomorrow and you have to go back home." I say while getting comfortable. "I can stay here again we go to the same school anyway and I only live next door." She replies. I shrug it off and grab a soda.

We watch a few movies then binge Grey's Anatomy. We pause Grey's Anatomy and get ready for our shower. It only takes each of us thirty minutes to shower considering fighting over hot water. "I'm getting dressed Casey stop banging on my door!" I yell after her fifth bang. "I could always help you if you want." She yells back. "I literally heard that wink from behind the door." I say rolling my eyes. She then opens the door and luckily she only saw my stomach because I was already pulling my sweatshirt over my head. "Damn it I missed the show." She complains. "Casey!" I shout while pushing her head back. I turn around and start to head to the roof when Casey pulls my hand and pulls me towards her. "Brittany when will you give me a chance?" She asks. I'm still kinda shocked with her words so I just shrug not knowing what to say. I turn around and start heading up towards the roof and Casey follows. We sit in complete silence lost in our own little worlds.

Casey likes me? No she can't that's impossible! There is no way. This must be some sort of game to her it has to be. Brittany West huh nice ring to it. What no stop you can't be thinking about that! It's most likely a bet yep that's it! So if I erase my feelings now I can't get hurt. Yep sounds like a plan! If this is a bet it's gonna hurt though I've actually made friends with Casey West. Never thought I'd see the day. I wonder if she never-

"Brittany?" Casey says. Oh she must have been calling my name for a while. "Yea?" I respond. I finally feel someone's hand in mine and I look down to see Casey's fingers intertwined with mine. "I was being serious you know? I actually want a chance. Your probably thinking it's some senior prank and if I were you I would too but I swear it's not. I've actually liked you since you moved here but you never looked my way so I didn't think you even noticed me. You also seemed to be in your own little world with Skylar so much people used to think you guys were dating. So I guess I never tried to shoot my shot or anything." She finishes. She waits for me to answer but I'm still lost for words so she continues. "Do you remember that day where I first saw you on your roof?" She asks. I nod having a flashback to that day. "Well before you even noticed me I was staring at you for about ten minutes. I wanted to come up with you but you looked so peaceful on your own so I stayed where I was. Then your mom called you and that's when you realized I was staring. Luckily for me I took a picture for safekeeping." She holds up her phone and I look at the lock screen to see myself lost in my own little world. I smile because I didn't have bad bed hair and how much she actually liked me. I blush a little. Wait.
