(Jakes P.O.V.)

Ugh.....I've been throwing up non-stop, my times almost up....

I walk to the music room, but as soon as I'm about to open the door I feel the feeling in my stomach. I run to the restroom and throw up blood, petals, and thorns.........again.

I let a sigh and flush the toilet, things were getting worse. I wipe my mouth and sigh again.

"Jake?"

I quickly turn around to see Luke and Zander, standing staring at me in concern

"O-oh hey guys-"

"I know." Zander says plainly

"What?" I ask

"I know you have the diease, I found out yesterday" Zander gives me a dead serious look

My eyes widen

"Luke!" I exclaim

Luke sighs

"I'm sorry, but he had to know......plus he already found out I had it" Luke explains

"Oh, well I wish you a happy life" I say softly

"Jake.......we're not letting you die, you need to confess to Hailey" Luke sighs

"Why should I? I mean.......she's so perfect while I'm......." I pause

"A asshole" I finish

"Jake......" Zander sighs

"We may have had problems in the past, but your not an asshole"

"Thanks-"

Before I get to finish, my stomach gives me that feeling again....I burst a stall door open and throw up........again.

"Oh my god Jake! Are you okay!?" Zander exclaims

"Y-"

I threw up once more before standing up

"Im almost out of time....." I sigh

"Go confess to Hailey!" Luke exclaims

"Might as well...." I mutter

I walk past Zander and Luke and go to my locker, I pull out a piece of paper and write

Hailey,

Please meet me up at the roof top as soon as possible

I head to Hailey's locker and put the piece of paper in it. Now to head up to the roof top

~Later~

(Hailey's P.O.V.)

I walk up to the school rooftop where Jake said to meet him, he's been acting strangly for the past month. I tried asking him about it once, but he came up with a different topic

"Jake?" I open the door to the roof to see Jake standing looking at the sky

"O-oh, Hailey your here......." Jake turns around

"Whats so urgent?" I ask

Jake's my crush so if there was something wrong I would of course want to help

"W-well there's two things I need to tell you......" Jake sighs

"Yeah?"

Silence lingers for about 5 seconds until Jake sighs again

"I-I have.........the Hanahaki Diease"

My heart shattered. The boy I was inlove with was head over heels for another person.

Why am I suprised? I'm a freak. A music freak. Why would Jake like me?

"O-oh! W-who is it your inlove with if you don't m-mind me asking?" I keep my tears back

"Its-"

Before Jake can finish he collapses to his knees coughing blood and petals

"JAKE!" I screamed

I fell to my knees and looked him straight in the eye, as I did he gave me a look I wish was just a bad dream

Its my time.

"Jake! I can't loose you! I lost my mom and I can't lose you to! Please!" I was practically begging at this point

The tears started flowing from my eyes

"I-I love you H-Hailey Austin" Jake says with a shaky voice

My heart practically stopped. The boy I was inlove with actually liked me!? I looked at Jake realizing he only had a few moments left

He looked at me with eyes that said

Goodbye....

No....no, no no NO! I'm not losing Jake! How do I save him!?

"JAKE STERLING I LOVE YOU TO!" I blurted out

Everything went silent, I cried. Jake, the love of my life was dead.

"Why are you still crying princess?"

Wait.....

I slowly look up to see Jake smiling at me

"J-Jake?"

"The one and only"

I cried again, this time in relief and happiness

I hugged Jake as I cried into his chest

"Shhhhhhhhhh its ok"

I lifted my self up and quickly kissed him, Jake kissed back after a few seconds as we were left with the wind gently breezing on the both of us. When we split apart we both smiled at eachother

"I love you Jake"

"I love you to my princess"
