I had kept those monsters caged within,
Not letting emotions get better of me;
But you persuaded me to let go
That I could tame them
And let them roam free,
That you would be there
And help me learn and grow.
But when I vent those pent up thoughts,
Releasing myself and feeling like never before
You were nowhere to be seen.
And now I'm lost
Surrounded by these new desires and emotions
That I know not how to handle.
However, you always called me
Your little lioness,
And just like that
I shall learn on my own
And rule this forest alone.
