Hyunjin's POV

I looked outside the window of my living room when I heard a car's horn.

"Oh, no..." I mumbled to myself.

I stood up and ran upstairs to my room.

"Seungmin! Seungmin, wake up!"

He groaned.

"5 more minutes."

"5 more-5 more minutes?! Your mom's home! Get up! You need to leave!"

"Wait, what?!"

He jumped out of the bed and started running towards the door of my room.

"Wait, your shoes and jacket!"

"Give me!"

He took his jacket in his hands and messily put on his shoes.

"Thank you for taking care of me." He said before giving me a quick hug and ran out of my room while I followed him.

"Is she still in the car?" He asked.

"I don't know."

He turned around and ran towards the opposite direction.

"Where are you going?"

"Come with me!"

He took my hand and dragged me with him towards the back of the house.

"I'll go from here. Can you come with me?"

I nodded.

He opened the door and we went outside. We bent down slightly and continued walking.

"Seungmin, why'd you leave your house window open before leaving the house?! Also, in this cold weather?!" I whisper-yelled.

"I forgot, okay?!" He whispered back. He looked inside the house through the window and said, "She's still outside. I'll jump through this window. Help me do that."

"Okay."

He climbed through the window while I helped him.

"Take off your shoes and put the jacket away so she won't know." I said.

"Oh, I forgot about that. Thanks for reminding me."

I hummed while nodding.

He quickly took off his shoes and put them away, same for his jacket. He also put the keys where I think they belonged.

"You can go, now. Thank you, again."

"No problem. Bye."

"Bye-bye!"

He smiled at me before shutting down the window, locking it, and putting the plastic curtain down.

After that, I sneakily left for my house.

Seungmin's POV

"Seungmin, I'm home!~"

"Oh, hey mom!" I said, peaking into the living room.

"Hello!"

"Let me help you with that."

I took the bags from her and put them on the kitchen's shelf.

"Thank you." She said, sitting on the couch.

I grabbed a glass and filled it with water.

"Here." I said, giving the glass of water to my mom.

"Thank you."

I hummed, smiling and nodding.

"May I ask, why are you wearing socks inside?"

"I was cold."

"You should've turned the temperature up."

"I was confused and I didn't want to do anything that could trouble you."

"Oh. Well, I'll tell you how to do that."

"Okay."
