Chapter 30

Third person POV

A/n : I'm deeply sorry for this.... I know you guys are not going to forgive me for this but still....hope you understand.

Finally! It was the wedding day! Yesterday Abhishek and Vaishnavi got married and today it was Siddharth....

The entire Vibha Mansion was heavily decorated and huge number of guests and celebrities had already arrived.

Siddharth was impatiently waiting for his bride- to- be to arrive at the mandap. Soon he heard murmurs and that's when he realized that the bride was arriving. He looked at the direction of the stairs and relief filled in......her soon to be wife, was making her way to him, in all her glory...

Siddharth's POV

Slowly and steadily I watched her, descending the stairs, looking like an angel.....an angel sent to earth just for me.

She was dressed in a heavily embroidered pink lehenga. Her hands were cladded with red bangles which glorified her perfectly manicured nails and the henna on her hands was the cherry on top. With every step she took, her anklets made a beautiful tingling sound.

Reem and Anushka accompanied her, standing on both of her sides.

I couldn't see her face due to the huge veil covering it. Damned veil!

After what felt like hours, she sat down besides me, in front of the holy fire called mandap. I was so lost in her that I didn't realize Vaishnavi Bhabhi nudging me to apply vermilion on her hairline.

I lifted my hands and slowly uncovered the veil to fill the vermilion.

But what I saw next was terrifying.......

Roshni....

I quickly snapped my head in the other direction, to find Avneet standing. With tears in her beautiful eyes, she was showering flowers on us.

No no no! This couldn't be happening.

"Wake up Siddharth!" I jolted up at the voice only to find Abhi Bhai standing next to me.

A/n : I was kidding!!! Ullu banaya bada maza aaya 😝

Thank God! It was just a dream.

"Siddharth are you alright?" Bhabhi asked and I quickly nodded.

"Come on get up then! You've been sleeping on Avneet's shoulder, since hours. She must be tired now" She said and I realized it was true.

"I'm so sorry" I said sitting up straight.

"It's alright" she mumbled slowly.

"Everyone get settled and put on the seatbelts. We are landing" Bhai said and everyone followed his orders.

The dream....I can't marry Roshni. Never... And the look on Avneet's face..

"Siddharth....can I ask you one thing?" Avneet asked slowly, unsure of my answer.

"Yeah of course" I said trying to calm myself down.

"Are you alright? You were mumbling, no no no! This can't be happening.. and something like that" she asked with a worried look and I smiled admiring her.

"Yes I am okay. I just had a bad dream" I lied.

I was far from okay!

Soon we were heading out of the car and it hit me that I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't even realize getting out of the airport.
