Collars are a staple part of the bdsm community. They represent different things for each person. Personally for me it's not just ownership of the sub but the affection of the dom. It's the subs way if relinquishing control to their dom . Thats why I prefer to buy my subs their collars and have them kneel and shut their eyes when i put it on. However, like I said this is different for everyone. To some people it's simply a fettish, to others a symbol of ownership but one thing never changes from person to person.
When a sub wears a collar it mean that I am yours and as long as you wear it you belong to me.
