Hold my hands for eternity
Protect me with his wings, hide me from life's cruelty
But we didn't realize how fate could be so illusionary
Who said that he'd swim the deep waters for me?
Save me when I'm drowning so badly
Embrace me in times of vulnerability
But who would have thought that time is slipping silently
Who said that he'd love me until we are old?
Reminisce memories as we should
Everything seems so real with you by my side
But now your gone leaving me broken inside
Who said those many broken promises?
I thought I was numb–but no it hurts
Who will I hold in my arms now?
When you suddenly vanished without saying goodbye
