It was calm, I sat down on Nyra with my legs crossed while she glided around, she liked when I flew with her. I was reading a book and eating an apple slowly, it was peaceful and I heard a Monstrous Nightmare roar and crash ruining the quiet. I didn't look up at first up thinking it was Snotlout and Hookfand having a disagreement, however when I heard yelling from Hiccup hut I look up and see everyone there.

"Was there like a meeting I wasn't told about or?" I ask myself and Nyra roared hearing me, we flew down to see what the Thor was going on.

Nyra landed and I slid off and pat her as thanks and start walking up to the door. I stand in the door to see everyone in there with a small kid and a frustrated Hiccup, I am so confused.

"Uh, hi?" I greeted awkwardly and everyone turned to me and just stared, the kid was the first to speak up.

"Who are you?" He asked I looked at him, he was a small boy with black hair and blue eyes dressing like Snotlout when he was younger. I'm guessing they're related in a way.

"L/N. Y/N L/N, Daughter of Aloisa and Davynn L/N." I started bowing slightly, I look back up at the boy who had his face in a dream-like state which made me a bit uncomfortable.

"And you are?" I asked which seemed to bring him out of his state, he shook his head lightly before saying his name.

"Gustav." He simply stated and then I knew who he was, the kid who was determined to train a dragon when he was younger and was going to be the next Snotlout, from the stories I heard from Hiccup and Astrid.

I had never met the boy in person, I see why Hiccup was a bit frustrated now. I see a purple and orange Monstrous Nightmare in the corner on top of Toothless and I assume that's his dragon.

I see Snotlout come over and put a hand on his head after that.

"Gustav, Gustav, over here. Uh, when are you leaving?" He asked wanting him to leave as soon as possible.

"That's funny, Snotlout, but I'm not leaving. I'm moving here." He said with a smirk on his face causing everyone to gasp in surprise, I stepped back a bit out of surprise.

"Haha! Yeah, yeah, you are." Tuff laughed out, thinking this is a joke but then stopped with a face of realization.

"Imagine... he would never... Wait, he's serious? I'll get the stake and firewood." He stated, making his way to the door as I lean on some wood watching this all play out.

"Oh, hold on, hold on. No one is burning anyone at the stake." Hiccup said trying to stop them and Ruff turned around thinking about what was said.

"Hiccup's right. Let's just throw him off the cliff." She said casually, making me start fighting down a smirk.

"Guys, I'm sure there's a simple explanation." He said before turning to Gustav. 

"Please tell me there's a simple explanation, Gustav." He asked desperately wanting an answer.

I breathe in and out to stop myself from laughing at the 'let's just throw him off a cliff comment' I calm down and look back at the situation.

"Yeah, very simple. By the way, do not look right into that sun sword thing." He said rubbing his eyes.

'What did he look into to?'

"Whoo! Anyway, you said when I was ready, I could join the Dragon Riders. Well, I'm ready and I'm here to join. Where's my hut?" He asked causing everyone to look at him with shock.
