"I don't get it! How did Viggo getaway?! How did we lose Heather, Windshear and the Flightmare?!" Hiccup asked Astrid and me as he looked out to sea while Viggo's ship drifted.

"I don't even wanna think about what they're going to do to her and those dragons," Astrid told him.

"Nothing will happen to them, Viggo's smarter than that," I assured her, she gave me a nervous smile as we hear dragons land behind us.

"You guys find anything?" Hiccup asked as I turn to face Fishlegs and the twins getting off their dragons, looking defeated.

"No, the fog was too thick. They used it as cover and just vanished." Fishlegs answered, letting me know that the fog was their escape plan as well.

"We should've just pulled Heather out, Hiccup. I knew something like this was..." Astrid started but I put a hand on her shoulder.

"Astrid! She wouldn't have come with us." I told her again, trying to get her to calm down a little.

"It could be worse. We could've brought the Dragon Eye." Tuff stated, I look at him with a curious look but Ruff elbowed him in the gut harshly after he said that.

"Ow!"

"How do you know I didn't bring the Dragon Eye?" Hiccup asked Tuff curiously.

"How did I know you didn't bring the Dragon Eye?" Tuff repeated nervously before Ruff elbowed him in the gut three times and smiled innocently at us.

"OUCH."

"Yeah. Okay. You're right. I didn't bring it." Hiccup admitted to us, I look over at him in distress.

"You did what?" I asked, not sure if I heard what he said wrong.

"I didn't bring the Dragon Eye?" Hiccup repeated, questioning why I asked him but that was conforming I didn't hear him wrong.

I run over to Nyra and get onto her back before she takes off to the Edge.

'Please don't be destroyed when I get there...'

I heard the chirp of a Nadder and Scuttleclaw flying up to us, I turn to see Astrid and Dracul flying up to Nyra's side as she flies as fast as she can to the Edge.

"What is it Y/n?" Astrid questioned.

"The Edge is completely unguarded, Viggo did what I knew he would do," I told her as I hear the others in the distance behind us.

"What would that be?" Astrid questioned, not catching on to what I'm saying.

"He sent a portion of his Hunters to the Edge to reclaim the Dragon Eye and destroy the base while we were here," I explained, I watch as her face drops even more.

"Just like you said..."

"Let's just hope to Odin they didn't get it," I stated as Nyra flies ahead at her top speed to get to the Edge.

Once the Edge is in sight I knew it was too late as it was dawn and there was smoke coming from different areas on the base. But once we got closer I saw things everywhere, there was a bed near the dome, wood planks everywhere but the outside of the huts seemed to be fine.

'They must've just ransacked the inside of the huts.'

Once Nyra lands she coo's sadly at all the destruction that happened while we were gone. We all walked around the base to look at all the destruction, I walk up and stand next to Hiccup as he looks out across the Edge.
